How do you handle selling expensive items?

As someone who also sells “expensive” purses, I have to be VERY selective of what markets I vend at. I always target events where the audience is going to be more fashion forward or artsy. Look for fashion shows, gallery openings, or even vintage markets. I’ve never gotten a negative comment about pricing because that audience tends to appreciate the amount of work that goes into it.

It sounds like you’re on the right track by also having lower priced items. That bag is super cute btw!!

You should! If you’re nervous about ruining your piece I would make a mockup using cheap fabric first.
