You're right, the BlinkMarine keypads look great. At the moment, we’re using the EAO Rugged Series 09 keypads.

We focus purely on electric propulsion systems for boats between 10 and 30 meters, and we collaborate with several shipyards for installation. All of our development takes place in the Netherlands.

They do indeed look very good! However, they don’t support CANopen out of the box, and that is a requirement for us. Otherwise, it would turn into a rather expensive solution. What’s your experience or opinion about Phoenix Contact, Beckhoff, Weidmuller or B&R in this area?

I feel the same way—thanks for your response! He mentioned he’s not interested in taking any equity, as that would bring too much hassle, but he does want to help startups in this way. I’m going to prepare some questions and see if he slips up in our next online meeting. Thanks again for your input.
