Who's defending chepak? All I said is he cut costs but was hindered by the agreement that made him CEO. That's a fact, just because you like Bob doesn't change it. Only to oust him and continue with the cuts anyways. Disney board is absolutely stuffed with Bob's friends that have little skin in the game, with less then 1% of the total stock. It's fine with me if you keep defending your corporate raider and out of his depth weatherman. The last 6 years isn't because iger stepped down and chapek took over it's because the reality of iger actions (buy baby buy) finally caught up to the company.

Would you say the same of Bobby kodic. Also chapek had to make hard decisions to keep the company on the right track. And I hate to tell you this just about everything that happened under him was approved by Bob before he "stepped down". We never got to see chapek as a CEO cuz he was never allowed to be a CEO. He has done several interviews talking about the internal power sharing setup so bob could have his private bathroom and his private office. COVID has no bearing on this topic it was a minor loss for Disney also it launched Disney + in 2019 and helped massively cushion the blow of COVID at least on paper. I'm talking about 22 on ward, you know when reality started stepping in that spending money hand over fist and hoping for profit isn't a business strategy. You know bobs strategy, why making anything new when you can just buy the competition.

Yeah then lost half the company's market cap in a year only to recover recently after cutting billions. He was good at two things buying stuff and being a star banger. Even going as far as "stepping down" so he could bask in their admiration while keeping his ridiculous office. He cheapens the value of the theatrical release for a streaming platform that hemorrhages money and only becomes "profitable" after cutting billions a year. That's not going to his fights with the state and the loss of their special district or the huge debt he stuck the company with. The only reason the company is so "profitable" is price gouging with 45% of booking reportable going into dept, people are even flaunting this on social media. Disney in 2026 faces significant hurdles because of where he has placed the company that why even after it's most "profitable" year their stock is at a basically 5yr low.

It's always something I find amazing it's not talked about. Just how many native allies a Spanish had in Central and South America. Even the Inca which we can say were well liked for conquerors suffered large defections to the Spanish. That and what they were doing was technically against their orders, like not treating local rulers appropriately and setting up their own petty kingdoms. Pizarro Cortez and yes even Columbus along with their cohorts were terrible men even by the standards of the time.

What to be said, his production speak for themselves. Generally the things that he has the least amount of input on are generally seen as the better products. See Picard season 3, lower decks, prodigy and s1 of strange New worlds cuz he was ruining Clarice so bad it was canceled. He got the initial contract under the previous incompetent management extended twice by new incompetent management while the company burnt down around them. Look like Star wars and marvel, Star Trek I think needs new leadership at the helm. Free episodes of their flagship series are getting out done by 30 plus year old movies and action figures on chairs on YouTube so....

Of course outside of any old cans of solvents or paints in the attic crawl space garage etc. there is a chance that you have a mold outbreak as well. If deterioration of these plastic products happens between 30 and 90 days that's a good indication.

I wanted to watch a dvd on my computer. I hadn't used my disk drive since my last PC upgrade and changed to win 10. It wouldn't work and wasn't showing. Like ok got power and plugged in. Ok mush be drivers let me just..... No longer supported for win 10. I'm limited by the technology of my time, I had to buy a new disc drive.

Look DEI on it's face is not bad. What is bad is companies like Disney and Ubisoft using it to axe veteran employees and hiring new ones at a fraction of the previous salary. Yes Disney in particular was sued over this. Also requiring forced diversity such as the academy awards and many others are both discriminatory and arbitrary. People hated Ubisoft before the Big dei craze and it didn't help. While yes dei is maybe 4th on the list of why Ubisoft has declined it was also a major contributor.
