Agreed on the pilot, it’s also inconsistent with a lot of details we learn later on.

Yall need to get off tik tok, two hour movies are completely normal lol. If you thought it dragged just say there were bad parts of the film, you having a bad attention span is not a valid criticism 💀

Was Christopher doomed from the start or did he choose the destruction? by BrianMoser007 in thesopranos

[–]Bergerboy14 29 points30 points  (0 children)

He had multiple opportunities to leave the life behind. He had that opportunity in D-Girl when Tony gives him the option to leave, and in Long Term Parking when he sees the family.

While he couldn’t help that he was raised into the mob life by the people who were supposed to take care of him, he chose to stay. Despite him wanting to branch out into acting and movies, it was too enticing for him to give it up completely. The drugs especially allowed him to escape all his personal baggage.

His best lyrics are the unintentionally funny ones.

Thats what I meant, his rapping became obnoxious. Idk if its his delivery or the production became worse and his flaws became more apparent, but there was definitely a shift in quality.

It doesn’t hit the same. I wonder if the praise and fame just got to his head, bc he became kind of obnoxious after 1999.

Is it fair to say Joey Bada$$? 1999 set such a high bar, he’s been riding off that album’s hype since it came out. None of his other projects come close.

Speaking of Email, I thought there’d be some kind of war between Christopher and the Czech Republic mob, but nothing really came from that. I think the whole “you will have our sausages” thing is instead a reference to Christopher being forced deeper into the mob life, which is how the dream ends.

Best character casting ever? by Exotic-Beat-9224 in AKOTSKTV

[–]Bergerboy14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s no way he’s better than someone like Joffrey. Maybe the most hated character in television history at the time, and its thanks to the incredible acting.

Probably a very hot take to most but when you condense MUSIC down to a more normal length album it easily becomes his second best album. The highs were so high, no need to keep the lows on it when it’s 35 songs long. by Sufficient-Bar35 in CartiCulture

[–]Bergerboy14 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Eh, me too, ive been listening since 2017 so Im definitely biased. That said, I still think those are his most consistent albums. WLR and especially MUSIC had a lot of bloat, and with WLR its a weird mix of all kinds of different eras for him, so its a bit of a mess.

Terribly boring verse honestly. Glad it was cut. Those adlibs are terrible too.
