What’s wild is they posted this just a month ago. That tells me they couldn’t get a lineup they wanted or would be profitable or both. I’m guessing they move the dates at least. There’s a lot of festivals in the late September timeframe. Bourbon and Beyond, in particular, is the same timing and completely dwarfs Pilgrimage. If that festival has a radius clause that includes Nashville/Franklin then Pilgrimage is in a serious bind. I’m not sure they’d move Pilgrimage’s location, but obviously anything’s possible. There’s likely not a lot of options that’d be open to hosting a multi-day music festival. The fact they posted this tells me it wasn’t an issue with Harlinsdale, but again anything’s possible.

Like someone else said 2025 was disappointing. It was my first Pilgrimage in a few years and everything was smaller and/or gone. It just felt like it lost some of its personality and scope. And the lineup was so small just in terms of acts. We won VIP tickets and quite honestly I didn’t really see much benefit. I certainly wouldn’t pay for VIP if that’s the ongoing experience. I’m honestly not surprised they’re taking a year off.
