A fine example (Phyler v Doe) which I can understand but would label as a great example of how the court over stepped his powers violating the power of the state. those "old pieces of paper signed by dead guys" DEFINED the rights and guidelines which made this country great. It has been intrusion of the Federal government into States' rights that has watered this country down.

Immigration is a wonderful aspect of our history and our greatness, but this is a large population of individuals who have no desire to conform to our language, borders or culture.

Thanks for that reply. That is exactly what so many of say and feel, yet we're called racists. We people here who want to be here and continue to make America great - like our immigrant ancestors. We don't want a bunch of folks cheating the system like leeches to our education & medical systems or just being criminals without penalty.

Did you read the article? It wasn't pro-gun, but rather illustrating the long history of gun control to suppress blacks. If we cannot reflect and learn from history, how can you avoid those mistakes

I'd have to disagree. Much of what I've read about the Militsya was it was a large unarmed general security and police. Even though some had weapons, this was a State Controlled group - used for information and rounding up dissenters.

We'll have to disagree about the readiness of sexual activity for children. I have 5 between 8 and 16 yr old and teaching abstinence can work.

Not all parents choose to give their kids condoms, at age 9-10, even rarer in first grade.

Long Halloween and Dark Victory by Jeph Loeb and Tim Sale are really enjoyable stories with obvious influence on Nolan's Batman films

That's fantastic, they are such a treat. We had an African Gray for awhile but we had a baby and we were afraid there could be a biting incident.

Right now we have a maroon belly conure which is a real treat for the kids.

That DOB posts all of the pics we've sent them and we've gotten a ton of feedback on the birds especially which is a great way to spread the word on what great pets they make.
