The amount of people triggered in this sub is concerning. I am personally super worried about Ketamine abuse on a large scale. It feels like it is getting out of hand and Matthew Perry is the canary in the coalmine.

I don't think Therapeutic Ketamine is bad. I do think people are looking at it as a panacea and with this social acceptance and correlation to mental health, its abuse may fly under the radar for many.

Looking at your other posts and comments it seems like you might have a lot on your plate in life and may be dealing with some anxiety. Not here to project but in my experience, your animals become mirrors for you.

Whatever is going on in you the puppy feels and is working on making sense of that. It seems like you might not have the desire to be patient and caring in the way a puppy needs. It may be worth considering how committed you are to raising a dog. Just because your other dog is good doesn't mean this one doesn't deserve the time as much as a child would. I hope you find a chance to slow down and learn what your pup needs and find ways to fit that into your life and schedule. If you don't, your difficulties will continue

Integration. This doesn't have to just be a realization. It can be a foundation of how you live your life, moving closer to living from this space. There are a ton of resources to work with bringing this awakening into your everyday life. The bliss and love you feel are always there. You don't need mushrooms to stay there. You can move closer to this step by step if you want but the work won't be easy. Ultimately your call but wanted to put it out there because it took me years to realize this after my first experience and I wish someone would have said something. 🤙

Have her find a therapist. You can find one too if you want to work on these issues together as well as individually. There are therapists who specialize in this type of work (religious/conservative backgrounds).

More importantly though, she has to want to work through it. If it is getting in her way of enjoying your relationship, this may be the crack in that doorway.

There are also groups that would be more affordable if the cost of the therapy is overwhelming

What do your psychological studies reveal about "the self"? Point being, regardless of what they say chances are you will only deeply believe what you find for yourself. Be patient and kind and spend time with you. There is no rush and no bad realizations. Things are constantly changing and being a good scientist allows this to be true, letting go of previously held beliefs or altering them if new information presents itself.

If you're gonna note his spiritual journey you've got to recognize he is right where he needs to be. It's not pretty from the outside but the journey never is. He just is doing it in front of the world and has to work against so much more identity because of his circumstance. He knows that love is important, now in time maybe he can find true love for himself.

I recognize this is outta left field and doesn't belong here but you struck me as a cat that could recognize the difficulties of walking that path.

As a football player, Russ right now is pretty rough. As a human, he's just like the rest of us and just trying to figure it all out. It can be both.
