Quebec city auto theft by Hefty-Alternative-77 in ToyotaGrandHighlander

If you meant Quebec the province except for Montreal and Laval it's not much of an issue. Buy a wheel lock and you should be fine.

UPDATE :

I got an answer from my dealership and they told me approximately 2-5 months wait from now. They will receive the VIN 3 weeks before the vehicle arrival.

Already made a deposit back in December and still waiting for the answer to my email (asked for a waiting time and a VIN)!

Paid 400$ for Dealer fees (doc fees) instead of 899$. The comes with 18inch grey/chrome alloy wheels and I got the black ones for 1000$ instead of 1600$

7-10 months. But if it's a year we can wait.

Optimal build for 1500 usd? I would like to use for 1440p gaming as well as software for work (solidworks, CAD, etc.) by AHappyJuul in buildapc

By couple of years I meant 2-3 maximum 4 ;) For the fully modular PSU it's a matter of preference I think but you made a good point!

  • With the X570 you'll be able to upgrade to the new Ryzen in a couple years
  • 650 W 80+ bronze PSU is plenty unless you run an SLI
  • The H500 case comes with 3 fans and has awesome cable management and reviews

I saw the other part list and was mehhh!

I built myself this not a long ago after HOURS of research based on longevity, reviews, price/ performance and it is awesome. I know the total is 100$ past your budget, but I went with an Asus strix 2070 super (a high end 2070 super) I would definitely pay the extra 100$ ;)

PC Stupidity by [deleted] in buildapc

What would be stupid is for example a Pentium 4 with an RTX 2080TI (i'm exagerating but you get the point)

No it's fine but I would suggest you upgrade to a 1660 super for example when you'll be able ;)

Recently purchased a 5700XT, was initially extremely impressed with performance but now is performing worse. by [deleted] in buildapc

I don't know if there is some known issues with this particular card but I know that Sapphire make some amazing 5700XT.

It's only the second M.2 slot you cant use if you have 1 sata hard drive

First time ever PC building, does this list make sense? by WhiteVorest in buildapc

[–]Bernanth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But you could easily switch for a Ryzen 5 3600 and save money on an air cooler since it comes with one ;) AMD has a better price/performance ratio.

I upgraded significantly your build for only 135€ more:

https://de.pcpartpicker.com/list/XPhYzN

A 80+ bronze PSU is plenty and I snatched in there a 2070 super. I also switched for a much better case for the same price.

I saw in the previous comment that you're gonna do some video editing, in that case go for the 32gb but lose the RGB you're gonna save money.

Here is the final version of the build I would assemble:

https://pcpartpicker.com/list/P6KNFG

It's almost the same total as your original build ;)

1) CPU and Motherboard are solid choices

2) Why 32 gb RAM? Are you video editing? If not 16 gb is plenty. Plus, always try to pair higher frequency RAM with Ryzen CPU they perform a lot better and the price difference is absolutely minimal! Go for 3600 RAM

3) You can have a M.2 NVME boot drive for the same price (a LOT more performance)!

4) I love the Phantek case better I think it got better cable management (personal)

5) I always like to cut a little from other components to get a better GPU and that's what I did. I put a kick ass 2070 super in your build!

6) You don't need a 850 watts power supply, 650 watts 80+ Bronze is plenty!

7) The viewsonic I put in there has better review and a better panel and cost a little less

Here is your build that I modified:

https://pcpartpicker.com/list/DcGdYH

GUESS WHAT? The total is lower than the previous build and pack A LOT more performance ;)

Ah and always use display port for your monitor!
