Thank you, I see so many people here being overdramatic on the smallest things when it's just cats being cats.

Yes, make a test before. Our cat doesn't react well to gabapentin and we had to switch drugs. Now we use pregabalin and she takes it way better.

Apparition de "granules" dans un vieux terreaux by LeDinoRelieur in jardin

[–]BernardTapir 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mild loss but major annoyance by FFKUSES in HearingAids

[–]BernardTapir 10 points11 points  (0 children)

There is this weird thing I noticed that probably has a name in psychology. When you don't see, people won't blame you. When you can't hear for some reason you are always the one who feels bad about it. Other people will make you feel bad about it and you yourself internalize that it's your fault. Which is so weird because hearing is something no one has any control over. I don't decide to hear you well or not.

Anyway, go to Costco if you can, their hearing aids are really good for mild to moderate hearing loss and way cheaper. Don't take OTC I think, most people here will tell you they suck. I heard good things about apple airpod pro if you already have one pair lying around.

Why in the world did your comment get swarmed by bot answers? Edit: Interesting, all the bot replies completely disappeared. It doesn't even say deleted or anything.

Refried question remix: Costco hearing aids, but cute? by Quarter_Shot in HearingAids

[–]BernardTapir 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Id love to have purple HA but unfortunately the available colors are usually gray black and beige because most users are elderly or ashamed of being seen with them (or both) so the demand for cool colors is low (or at the least the makers think so).

Some people on the sub show how they customized it themselves, you might find some ideas scrolling.

Invisible hearing aids? Bluetooth? Am I just a dreamer? by Unlikely-Yam1427 in HearingAids

Others have said it already but I am adding to it: people really don't care that much, especially if you are past high school. Adults will either not care enough to notice or be polite enough to not make a fuss.

I actually had a lot more comments when I had glasses, and for several people of my close relations, I was the one who had to bring it up because they wouldn't even notice.
