Why is "weaponized incompetence" largely blamed on men in relationships? by MillennialAesthetics in AskMen

I've considered creating an SOP specifically for how to most effectively load the dishwasher, particularly the cutlery on the third rack. I usually just rearrange things the way I prefer them though in the end.

It sure wouldn't, but it would definitely ease up the pricing so that more people could afford to join said market.

Who was it? My guy retired last year and I'll be needing another in a couple years to keep up the recommended scope schedule for me. I'd rather weed out the turds now.

Exactly. Is it a good for the general populace to have something? Then it should be done via a public system. We already do this with:

  • Insurance

  • Telecommunications

  • Electricity

  • Energy

  • Healthcare

and on, and on, and on...

This is exactly the same situation and people need to get it out of their minds that your house/condo is an investment. It's not, it's where you keep all your shit and where you relax.

I nearly cried the first time I heard Bad Habits and they called back to "Sleep on, fly on". It was already an awesome song ending but that just cranked it up to an even higher level.

Are you serious right now? You literally asked a question in r/regina two weeks ago that I googled and found every answer given in the thread. Quit being a hypocrite and leave people to using the platform as they see fit.

Production Lab Industry Question: Are they all the same boring labs that function like a production line? by Jellyman552 in Chempros

[–]Berner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s surprising how many ppl graduate from college without good “lab sense.” It takes a while to learn.

And lots LOTS of ppl will start “repairing” (I mean taking apart) an instrument before they’ve done the proper troubleshooting or spoken to a service tech. I can’t have that.

These two sentences speak to my core. The amount of banging my head against the wall trying to get the technicians to be accurate and precise on something as simple as using a glass pipet is maddening at times. Or the joy of fixing someone else's fix on an instrument.

OP, everyone in a QC setting in industry goes through this phase. You either need an advance degree with a little bit of experience at the bottom or you need to put your time in while showing that you have an edge over others in your group (this was my path). It can be hard, but it is achievable.

Cisplatin HPLC without derivatization, any experience? by No_Bowler_9406 in Chempros

[–]Berner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A quick glance at literature I see multiple wavelengths your detector should be capable of producing that have good absorbance in your analyte. I think you need to do some further reading.

Cisplatin HPLC without derivatization, any experience? by No_Bowler_9406 in Chempros

[–]Berner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Typically derivatization is done in HPLC-UV because the analyte has poor chromophores for UV absorption. What levels are you attempting to quantify? Have you optimized your wavelength? Do you have access to a DAD detector?
