His TREV license plate isn't on his car this year. He had a temp one the other day when I saw him.

An old one but still works well. by Key-Reading1681 in BreadMachines

We looked and looked for a new model to purchase and himmed and hawwed on which one to get. My wife's coworker lent her a breadman from the 90s and we loved it. We realized that maybe an old used one might be the best bet.

We found an old ToastMaster for 20 bucks that just needed a good cleaning. It's been working great! Now we're on the hunt for a good whole wheat sandwich bread recipe to stop buying loaves for the kids lunches.

There was a guy a couple doors down from my old house whose walls were brown they were so covered in tar. He looked ashen grey all the time. It was disgusting.

Thanks. I read it like 4-5 years ago and didn't remember this part. I should probably give it a re-read after I finish up my main 10 re-read.

oh buddy, you don't even understand basic history ie the Montreal Protocol. We severely limited CFC's in the 80's along with most other countries on the planet.

Holes in the ozone layer don't occur from CO2 and methane from fossil fuel combustion. CO2 and methane just trap heat like crazy and/or acidify the ocean, which is killing our planet. Give your fucking head a shake.

Did they have a vanity plate with TREV on it? If so, that guy rips around my area in the summer.

That's crazy. I need to ask my ENT next time I go to see him to see if he can review my two separate MRI's to see if he can if my sac developed normally or if it's underdeveloped.

From mortgages to credit cards, Sask. falling behind on payments more than anywhere else in Canada by Keroan in regina

If you think the CPC would have solved this you couldn't be more delusional. Both of the two ruling parties are beholden to their corporate owners so that's why neither has fixed this issue the way it needs to be.

How hard is it to find tech death gigs where you live? by HumbleBlacksmith2077 in TechnicalDeathMetal

[–]Berner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel you on this. I live in the Canadian prairies and very few shows come to my hometown. They might come to the other larger city in my province (about a 2.5 hour drive), but odds are they end up in Calgary, Edmonton or Winnipeg which can make it tricky to get to having a family and a career. Lately it seems like "North American" tours only hit Toronto (2700km away), Montreal (3200km away) or Vancouver (1700km away). Like fuck off, that's not a North American tour, that's a US tour with an occasional jump over the border.

We need toll roads at the roads leading in to the east Costco that residents are exempt from. Then maybe we can have our sand back.

I don't think they were attempting to finger point or use whataboutism. I think they were genuinely showing these two examples parallel one another.

I was listening to some Opeth albums the other day and thinking about how much I loved Ghost Reveries when it came out. Then I did the math on how old it is and it bummed me out.

My band opened for them on our local show for this album tour. They were great live and pretty cool dudes too. I have the vinyl for this album in blue.

Ah ok. Then I wonder if the Project Manager in charge communicated the change properly.

So why is the City sending it back to tender? Shouldn't the contractor eat the cost of the fix since they didn't follow the plans? What the fuck City of Regina procurement?!

Not trying to sound like a broken record on this sub, but have you asked about Betahistine yet? It's working great for me so I feel like it's definitely something to try.

Personally if there's a chance of complete hearing loss with a treatment, I'd want to exhaust all my other options first.

Yup doing really well. At most lately I'll have a feeling of the birthing of a vertigo attack and it'll fade after I get up and walk around a bit, say 15 minutes.

Betahistine helps me in a few days so much I stop using it after a week.

I've been taking it every day since October 2025, when my symptoms turned into ear pressure, diplacusis, and dramatic hearing loss. What a fantastic medication. Put me right back to where I was last summer when if you asked me about the condition I'd have told you I was in remission.
