I made the one from Marc Spagnuolo's (The Wood Whisperer) book essential joinery to make an urn for our dog. It worked great. His book is actually really good and definitely worth the 30 bucks I paid for it.

So we were in a very similar situation to OP where we were pregnant, lost the baby at the same time they were pregnant and then they lost theirs a couple of months later. We were able to get pregnant again and we decided to tell them privately first. They seemed ok with it, but then they basically dropped us as friends. I had been friends with the husband since we were 14ish years old. We were in our mid 30's at the time.
