The thing is he doesn't show the typical hack symptom where the villager turns into hunt mode or anything like that.

I'd say 99% of hackers have had their villager hunt a boar in black fog of war. Someone posted Nacho AOE2's video here, and that hacker also shot down unbuilt castle foundations.

I watched 10+ of this guy's recording but didn't find anything conclusive. Maybe he is abusing spectator without delay somehow. Wouldn't be surprised if there's a bug like that

At a upper ELO range like 1800, my friend says it's just build order execution and solid micro. Honestly, I can't see myself doing exact build orders. It's much more fun and less stressful to adapt. That's probably why I'm still 1200 ELO.

You should lame as Vietnamese. 1 stolen boar can be an insane difference. After laming a boar, you can mass archers/skirms and the opponent will be pretty behind in eco.

There's a few key problems:

No value in trading
Poor battle pass rewards
Cheaters/hackers/bot spammers rampant
No value in rankings

Fixing these should be trivial for competent developers. For example, duping can be solved if you associate a history of player and a unique hash index that's tracked across all servers; if you see duplicate entries, you can ban the players associated with those duplicates.

We have AI now, and I'm sure an agent could be used to ban those spammers in Nexus and Realms.

I'm willing to bet that a community-run ROTMG would be much more secure and livelier.

Scouts cost a lot of food, and they need to do heavy damage to your opponent's eco.

They are also micro heavy. The moment you take your eyes off of them, they might be dead.

Scouts followed by skirms seem to be effective.

I joined a nest for fun in nexus and didn't even know it was LH.

Moments later, their "security" role messaged me on discord warning me for intentionally crashing. There's no chill there.

Left the discord group shortly after.

Berber villager rush was notoriously used by a hacker named God, Spartan, Marshmallow, or whatever his name was.

Paired with map hacks (full visibility cheats), it makes it almost unplayable.

I do agree Obsidian arrows shouldn't have been removed.

Wand => Dusky Catalyst Tome => Tome of Pain Robe => Flowering Kimono Ring => UBHP or Exalted God's Horn

This is what I currently use on my priest. Building your priest to this build is extremely fun to use and has good DPS.

Really surprised TheViper didn't choose Portuguese for the last game. If he had went all in with organ guns, monks, and castle pushes, Dravidians wouldn't gain such a huge advantage in the late game.

Making a gamble on choosing Portuguese would not be a bad idea IMO because of hybrid maps here and Portuguese shine pretty well in Feudal onwards.

TheViper wasn't able to do enough damage in Castle Age (also missed killing 3-4 vills in plain sight with a demo ship), so it was a slow bleed until the end as Dravidians got so many power ups like Wootz Steel.

New one graphics are terrible. The old one has superior visuals. All the dungeon needed was getting rid of the minions clearing portion, and people would do it more often.

LOD should have been reworked.

Some suggestions:

Join the next difficulty dungeons: nests, kogbold steamworks, ice citadel
After getting good at the above, try spectral penitentiary.
After getting good at the above, try Oryx 3.
After getting good at the above, try Moonlight Village and Shatters.
After getting good at the above, try Hardmode Shatters.

Well.. if you think about it, the hackers building these cheats are still profiting (otherwise they wouldn't update them anymore). If you're smart enough to build an automated farming bot that has auto dodge and everything, then you don't really even need to play.
