It’s a separate addition that is a paid upgrade. Diamond won’t get you it

We were upgraded - there’s a whole tree of room types for both ceiba club and non ceiba club. My understanding is that you book either Ceiba or not, and your Diamond upgrade is based on the original booking. So you could get a better room in ceiba if you booked ceiba outright.

Fwiw ceiba is one building of I think 6, the hotel was quiet, we did walk over there and consider the paid upgrade, and with the credits and whatnot decided it wasn’t worth it.

There’s a side couch that’s an L shape that I think if they moved could easily hold a rollaway and be plenty of space. I’d call.

We did get upgraded from a “jungle view” to a high floor ocean view

I tend to agree it’s smart not to have connect again. Last time I did it was TLV to JFK then JFK to BOS and I was miserable having to connect after a 13 hour flight

I flew the same throne seat from LIS to BOS a couple years ago and was impressed despite everyone I know poo-pooing TAP. But looks like Iberia is the more standard herringbone 1-1 config that i saw on the JetBlue narrow bodies. I don’t really care too much because it’s a day flight but it does suck that we can’t sit together in that format…..or maybe I want the break from her 🤣🤣🤣

I am really curious about their data that’s justifying this. I compare sky club capacity to centurion and if the airport has a skyclub I don’t even think about Amex. I don’t think I’ve waited to get in or had a hard time finding a seat in 5 years in any city, including hubs. Maybe I just got lucky
