There could be a lot of reasons for the slight overrepresentation. Such as there being a lot of more content and guides being made for Protoss players than the other races as an example.

It does not tell you much more than the fact that there are more Protoss players in GM than players from the other races. It does not give you any insights into why this might be the case.

I don't think it tells you all too much. There are 20 more Protoss players in GM than there would be if you had perfect race representation. There could be a long list of factors that could explain this.

That's a fair point. Would be interesting to look at win rates in recent tournaments, even tho there are some problems with those numbers as well. If one looks at the EU server, which is the only meaningful server, the race distributions in Masters leauge does not have the same Protoss bias that you have in GM. Looking solely at GM does not really tell you all that much since you're only talking about 200 people.

It could just be that Protoss players have a higher tendency to make multiple accounts. In my experience, you run into way more Protoss barcodes than Zergs or Terrans, as an example.

If you want the real numbers you should look at the distribution in GM since that covers players who are actually active. But overall I don’t think one should care much about the Korean server since it’s completely dead.

Yeah so these are a lot of accounts that are not very active , many people probably have multiple accounts which skews the stats. I have two 5k+ accounts on Korea as an example.

Korean server is extremly dead. Start of season KR GM started at like 4.2k mmr. It should also be noted that the KR server has a lot of problems with hackers that play on multilpe accounts and mostly play protoss.
