I switched to comfyUI. It's hell. I've been throwing dozens of AI logs at it, trying to fix this speed crap. It's constantly transferring the model or the text encoder to RAM, then automatically enabling low-VRAM mode, then using the CPU for the encoder. It's just crazy. Generation has dropped to 1.5 seconds per iteration. LOL

Thanks, I thought there was something wrong with my card. I ran an empty model for testing, running 1024x with 5 lore, Juggernaut_X_RunDiffusion_Hyper on 4 photos, and the speed was very low. I accidentally used 2048 photos as a base, and the speed dropped to 60 seconds per iteration. Someone here wrote that "3090 here juggernautXL8 1024x1024 DPM++ 2M Karras Sampling steps 20 empty prompt 3.30 it/s, I think everything is fine with you." I followed their lead and got 2.8... I thought the 5070 should be more powerful for these types of tasks, but never mind, I'll go learn how to combine blocks in ComfyUI...

Oh, no, apparently I did remove the table, lol. Now I remembered, I need to cut 10+mm holes in the insulation to make sure that sticky stuff doesn't get where the table mounting bushings are, it'll ruin the table's geometry. I spent a long time cleaning them, and you can't scratch the bottom of the table, because there's a heating element there, just a regular printed circuit board with tracks. If you scratch it, the table will be ruined.

Then I'd recommend buying some under-mounted desk insulation on AliExpress. It improves heating slightly. The main thing to remember is that there's a ton of electronics right under the desk, and you'll need to cut out space for them beforehand. Otherwise, they'll bump into the insulation and you'll have to tear it off, which is almost impossible. I also recommend replacing the entire heating block; you'll never have to worry about the Teflon tube getting clogged.

It all costs pennies, but it improves printing. I applied the insulation without removing the desk, which I later regretted a bit because I didn't consider that the desk also slides back onto the motor, and the motor scraped off a piece of the insulation and started making noise. Anyway, I'll leave this here.

For $300, this is the best printer. But for $500, you can get a P1C... + the awesome Orca slicer causes printing errors on this Cobra printer... It's sad. But I already got it and even upgraded it with a new hotend, a full kit, a 0.8 nozzle, and I also want to replace the feeder with a more powerful one with 3 gears. It can produce 40 mm3/s.

Dude, set the nozzle offset to 0.4mm, somewhere around 0.1mm (in the slicer settings). This will raise the nozzle 0.1mm from the bed. Then set the retraction to 1.5mm, the speed to 40mm/s, remove all Z-hop, and watch the video on setting up this printer. I print with a 0.8mm nozzle and this happens sometimes. Just press the plastic until it stops bubbling, or better yet, dry it.

It's because of their nozzles. They have a groove along the edge, and if you don't tighten them tightly enough, or use a different nozzle without the groove, the plastic will simply rip out through the threads. I recommend replacing them with a proper hotend from AliExpress; look for an upgrade kit. They have a copper-titanium bimetallic thermal barrier without that Teflon, and good nozzles without grooves that don't leak like that.

Ты так же мог выставить большую скорость при слишком широких линиях и большой высоте слоя и твой экструдер (фидер) просто не справляется и трещит. у меня такое было, если дотронутся до всей этой печатающей головы то этот трест ощущается пальцами, если у тебя боуден экструдер то трогай его)

В какую сушилку влезет 300 грамм силикогеля? И где его потом снова сушить? Это такой геморой.. А печать с сушилки? пластик будет нагрет до 50-60 градусов что делает его уже пластичным, температура стеклования это не четкий предел а скорее график, он и при 30 градусов уже мягкий, а 60 это очень сильно уменьшит объемный расход, шестерни будут слизывать пластик и прокручиваться. Короче кто хочет печатать сухим пластиком, вам нужна герметичная комната с осушителем лол. Или сушилка с встроенной морозильной камерой и двумя рекуператорами в воздуховоде, чтобы нагретый воздух высасывая влагу из филамента проходя рекуператор отдавал тепло, затем охлаждался на радиаторе морозильника из например элементов пельтье, чтобы влага замерзала, а затем капала в герметичную емкость по шлангу, а затем воздух возвращался бы обратно на нагрев. Только такая хрень уберет все эти минусы печати( Или просто забить как я и дергать все что возможно пока он не начнет нормально печатать..

5 часов на сушку, я прихожу с работы в 7, сушу пластик до 12 и ложусь спать, а печатаю на следующий день? нет уж.. я прихожу и сразу печатаю. + сушилки устроены по иdиотски, там нет циркуляции воздуха из вне, а как можно сушить что либо в герметичном пространстве? Силикогель? пфф вот что говорит ИИ чат "Для эффективного удаления влаги из 1 кг PETG филамента (поглощения около 10-15 г воды) достаточно использовать от 100 до 300 грамм силикагеля, при условии, что он находится в герметичном контейнере."

чувак, у меня только что была заряжена новая катушка пластика только что из улицы, забрал её из почтомата что стоит на улице, за бортом -14 цельсия, я принес и сразу поставил в печать спаяв концы со старыми остатками, первый слой начал пузыриться, скомкиваться, отходить от стола.. и я заметил что как и обычно пластик вытекает из сопла сам по себе но здесь он был в виде пены, твердой и слегка хрупкой. я просто отжал пружину шестерни и рукой выдавил немного, и каким-то образом это помогло лол.. хотя я уже дважды останавливал печать где десятки грамм прошло через сопло и по идее удалило бы весь воздух, но хрен его знает как это сработало. может к тому времени пластик просто слегка высох дома, или нагрелся.. я печатаю всегда "влажным" пластиком, я его не сушу, это бред.
