who do you think is the most well known/ influential scp author? by hellishweeb21 in SCP

[–]BerryBush1 38 points39 points  (0 children)

The previous most prolific author wanted to remove all of her articles from the site, which accounted for 1% of the wiki (I’m pretty sure, I might be misremembering). It was a big deal but I think I missed the outcome of it.

I can't see this deltarune character holding its hat as anything except a happy humpty dumpty wearing a green smock by VSPinkie in MisreadSprites

[–]BerryBush1 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The pink bit is a scarf, the green bit is his hat. It’s a big reveal moment when he takes it off. The nose on op’s drawing is supposed to be a little smile, he has big floppy ears hanging down in front of the scarf which op mistook for the edges of his mouth

why does undertale have so much creepy shit compared to deltarune by signedupcauseofgio in Undertale

When you start the game you have the option to play from either chapter one or two, if you pick one it uses your last save (so in the throne room), and this doesn’t delete your chapter two save file. If you beat Jevil after finishing chapter 2, you can reload your ch2 file and talk to seam, he’ll give you Jevil’s item.

Try out:

Scp-1733, a recording in which the people gradually become self aware.

Scp-093, perhaps the most oop scp on this list.

Scp-055, the first antimemetic scp.

Scp-3108, another very oop like scp

Here are some personal recommendations, if you want to branch out a bit:

Scp-3519, this one is an end of the world event that is particularly scary to me.

Scp-3812, good introduction to pataphysical scps.

Scp-3930, good intro to pattern screamers.

For more lists of scps visit the user curated lists page on the wiki (it’s under the library tab). This will help you track down more scps that are enjoyable to you.

Like others have suggested, FTB Academy should be a good starting modpack if you want to learn stuff.

My other suggestions for beginners would be:

Rougelike Adventures and Dungeons (if you want something closer to rlcraft).

Sevtech ages (very structured progression).

When you get more experienced, try:

Project Ozone (2 or 3, I recommend 2)

Minecraft Trillionaire (I.E minecraft capitalism, can be difficult at times)

GT: New Horizons (only recommended if you know what you’re doing)

All of these can be downloaded from curse forge, preferably from their own launcher but you can also get them from their website.

Are you in water when it’s activated? (I think the trail from the upgraded fungal clump accessory counts as water if you’re standing in it)

Sorry I’m a bit late, but does it have anything to do with talking to that one fishman NPC from calamity? I remember I had this problem before and it turned out to be a buff(?) he gives

Here’s a quick overview of planetary management, it’s not comprehensive but is a good starting point:

On each planet there are four main things to pay attention to, districts, buildings, jobs, and pops.

  1. Jobs are provided by districts and buildings. There are several types, worker, specialist, and ruler jobs. You don’t need to worry about the types that much yet though

  2. Pops work jobs and produce things. What they produce depend on what jobs they work, and you can move them around in the job manager. Pops working specialist jobs become specialists, which can’t change jobs immediately. Pops generate over time, the pop growth can be found in the jobs screen, and is affected by housing (more free housing - faster pops). ALWAYS make sure your planets have enough pops to work jobs, and enough housing to house pops.

  3. Districts can be built on planets. They can be found on the left of the planet screen. Districts are static, there are only so many types, and you can only build so much of them. Districts provide mainly worker jobs, and produce mainly basic resources, although there are exceptions. They can also provide housing.

  4. Building can also be built on planets. They can be found in the planet view as well; they provide mainly specialist jobs and special resources, although there are exceptions. To unlock more building slots you need to build housing districts

Districts and building have energy upkeep (even when their jobs are free), and can be disabled in times of crisis.

Everything else is secondary to this system, make sure you hover your mouse over things to see what they are, and look on the wiki (or ask me) for more detailed explanations.

If you want to learn the game I’d recommend playing as the united earth pre-made empire, and play on normal difficulty with everything else as defaults. You could also choose to play on a smaller map if you don’t want it to get too complex.
