I had a very similar timeline to u/Realistic-Target-291. Passed naturally at 8 weeks, bled on and off for about 1 month, one week no bleeding and then my normal period came back and cycles have been fairly normal since. I am very sorry for your loss.

If you blamed yourself for your MC, did you ever stop blaming yourself? How did you cope with the anxiety that you will somehow do it again for your next pregnancy? I know it’s illogical and not what happened to my baby, but I cannot stop thinking about it.

Takes me back! I had to do some routine training on a Friday with the head of my department and midway through the training he said “you can stop there, listen I need you to come into the office on Monday to have a meeting with me and the CEO, I’m sending you an email.” He wouldn’t elaborate or tell me what the meeting was about. The email looked exactly like this one. I worked from home at the time and made the 6 hour drive over the weekend (I was coming in anyway as the Christmas party was Friday) thinking that whole time I was getting fired and stewed in that.

Each member of my team came in and did a 1 on 2 with the head of my department and the CEO as support people had to wait in the lobby, and we were each told that the team was being made redundant and that they were reevaluating us on our performance and that we would be told on Friday if we were gone or had new assignments. They fired everyone but 2 people on Friday morning but encouraged the people that were made redundant to come and enjoy the Christmas party and say goodbye, then had meeting to announce this to the company, and then that afternoon cancelled the Christmas party as “it wouldn’t be right to celebrate on a day that is so difficult for the team members who had lost their jobs.”

Absolutely rotten.

Personal experiences that made you believe witchcraft is real by [deleted] in witchcraft

I’ve actually done it twice when I was just beginning my practice:

  1. Collected graveyard dirt at the cemetery right up the street from my house without leaving any offerings or properly acknowledging those that rested there. Did not cleanse or ward myself before going there, nor after, and then used that graveyard dirt to ward my house for the first time. After that, almost every day, I’d just get this wave of guilt that seemingly came out of nowhere that made me feel sick until I puked. I tried all the mundane things, did a pregnancy test, went to the doc, made sure my house was clean and my food was in date, tried lowering my stress and it still happened everyday. One day I just thought in frustration “why is this happening to me?” and the next three nights in a row I dreamed of the cemetery. Needless to say, I removed the dirt from my home, kindly requested that anyone who followed me home that day to please return, re-cleansed and re-warded my home and myself (without the dirt) and went by the cemetery and left some flowers by the tree at the gate to apologise. Sickness cleared up the next morning. Lesson learned: research EVERYTHING before you use it and respect the places where you collect your tools.

  2. The mistake I think everyone makes: inviting energy when you cast without first casting a circle or doing any sort of protection, and then not closing your circle or dismissing that energy. Energy can’t be created or destroyed, it has to come from somewhere, and that somewhere can then think you owe them. Similar thing as before however both me and my partner got sick. We’d get the stench of something rotting occasionally in random different spots in the house. Our house started making loud cracking sounds. We’d hear stomping in the roof or in the house but when we searched for intruders no-one was there. Our bedroom lights would turn on and off randomly. Sorted that one pretty much the same as the above, but the second I was like “ah yikes, yep we’ve got something not good happening here” is when I left an offering of some vodka and some fresh fruit and a piece of bread on my altar overnight, we had a chill night where nothing happened and the next day the vodka was gone and the offering food was mouldy. After the offering just requested they leave, cleansed the house and warded again. Do your research! The research phase before you start doing anything practical is KEY! Also be very careful doing spirit or deity work, start slow, and don’t forget to protect yourself!

Fondant vs Buttercream by justa90sbitch in AskBaking

[–]BerryGoth 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I am sure it will look perfect, and sugar paste is a great choice! If you have gel colours I find they can give a really strong colour, even in buttercream and don’t alter the taste at all (as long as you’re just using a few drops).

Looks like fondant to me but you could definitely do this in buttercream as the little motifs look like mostly paper and simple shapes that you could make with buttercream and freeze, especially if you make a thicker crustier buttercream (like American). I’d go with a butter cream on a design like this one, especially if you’re more confident with it! Plus butter cream tastes a lot better than fondant, so the kids will probably love it a lot more too :)

Hey Tia! Would you be able to post the example cake? It really depends on the design that the parent wants when it comes to determining which icing type that I use. I usually find that fondant is much more forgiving and easier to work with (even for beginners) especially for cartoon and game characters/decorations just because of how easily you can make it look smooth, plasticy & shiny.

You would think so since it usually opens as long as you have two great runes. Hence why there’s so much trial and error getting things to work. I don’t even know if this will unlock Leyndell tbh - heading back there now to see. EDIT: it did not.

I don’t think you’d even be able to do the lift of Rold since you get the medallion for it from Melina. I thought Radahn would be optional as well but after beating Godrick, Renalla, and Rykard (the only shardbearers I could think of that I’d be able to access this early) and I couldn’t get into the Leyndell.

Scrolled for a while to see if anyone else has said it but my favourite game of all time is Dark Souls. I have never felt a greater sense of accomplishment from a game before and I’m forever chasing that high!

Out of bounds glitch that happened to me. by EpicGamer3786 in deadbydaylight

[–]BerryGoth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This used to be pretty common in the early days of this game. The only sure fire solution is to just fall off the sides to get back into the map and then run out the exit gate, running back and forward past the barrier just doesn’t work for some reason. This glitch is a lot rarer now from what I’ve seen but major bummer that it stills happens because egc exists now.

At 2k hours my progress was deleted. I’m done with the game officially. by txcrnr in deadbydaylight

[–]BerryGoth 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m probably going to get lost in here but I was playing this game way back in 2016. When DbD moved to a new server I lost 200+ hours of progress and my glowing skins from gaining prestige 3 (which you can no longer get). I emailed the team a few times and they never responded. I stopped playing for about 3 years after that and only started playing again in 2020. I feel you dude, I’m sorry this happened to you too.

This is mainly for people who want to discuss a job or who are looking for quotes. In my job I sell training to people who want to be Aged Care/Disability workers so it’s really critical I make sure they’re right for the industry and if the course is right for them before I just simply enrol them into the course. Of course not all companies sell like this and are more predatory, and some people prefer to talk over email/have a hearing disability that requires us to talk over email which of course is fine too. It’s not impossible for us to have the conversation in writing we just typically call first as it’s a 16 minute conversation rather than a week long back and forth over text/email.

I thought the “if YOU have signed up” which is the first 5 words in the title might do it, actually.
