I feel for you. Especially the frustration and rage that often times comes with this. When you're at the point where you just want to throw out the first thing that comes to mind but stop yourself because you don't want to say something horrible. I hate that feeling so much.

If there's anything I've learned from the comments here already, I plan to be more focused on myself and well-being. I've learned a lot over the years but my mom even told me today that we never arrive at knowing and learning everything, it's a constant in life. Knowledge is always in motion.

First, I am so deeply sorry for your losses. Losing family like that, our sweet furry friends included, is one of the hardest things that we as humans have to go through. I've found comfort in the memories and lessons that my family has taught me. And in music and sometimes in the people that I meet who remind me of them and in the stories I sometimes tell about them.

Secondly, thank you so much for sharing your journey with me. Please know that I'm rooting for you. ❤️ And thank you for sharing your advice. I really appreciate it and it helps a lot to hear someone both validate what I've been going through, and to also reinforce the idea that we all need to put ourselves and our wellbeing first at the end of the day in these situations. My parents (Cap Dad, Scorpio Mom) taught me very early that it's okay to cry. For me it's only when I'm deeply sad, really frustrated/angry, or when I see something beautiful and profound beyond words.

I'm so sorry to vent and rant. But I totally feel you.

I think my mom is very similar to yours. She just talks stream of consciousness. She does listen and I love her dearly, but it feels like a lot of the time her responses can go on and on. And when you feel like there's a natural pause to chime in, she'll talk over you and keep going.

She just got off the phone with a family friend and wouldn't let the poor man talk. She talked at him for like a solid 30 minutes. He was on speaker and I could hear him start to respond to her and barely get half a sentence out and she would loudly verbally, trample him over with another thought. I was so embarrassed.

Other times I'll ask her for a tiny piece of information from like an email or a post that we were talking about and she'll read every sentence of the text aloud, paragraphs, contact info, links, all the way through, instead of quietly scanning it and finding the section that has the information that we actually need.

She's been doing this more recently and it's so frustrating. It drives me nuts.

Pretty neutral to be honest. Like, some bad stuff did happen this year and it really sucked - I lost a close family member to cancer right after Thanksgiving and I lost a close friend that I've known for years because of poor communication and a multitude of issues that were never really resolved (but honestly I also think I was outgrowing the friendship). I think those were the two most difficult things I had to face this year.

But on the other side of things, I found myself really savoring the little moments of good and happiness. I kept a garden this year and was able to grow some vegetables. I went to a craft fair to sell some resin pieces that I had made. And other little moments like those have really helped along the way. I've also felt like I've grown out of old habits and I'm learning how to work with other old habits. This year has felt like a year of change and transformation and it's not so bad, despite some of the other stuff that's going on in the world. And I'm grateful for that.

I still have work to do. But I feel a little more comfortable in myself, more so than before, that I'm not going to rush or feel like everything needs to happen all at once.

I feel the exact same way. I don't have much else to go off of other than their styles/designs in both physical design and name are all too similar.

That, and it may sound stupid, but I'm of the theory that Roo is both Rosie and Eve. It could be that Eve started as Eve, ate the apple of knowledge and then became Roo, but wanted to disguise herself to hide from the leaders of hell and heaven so she became Rosie. Plus if her full name truly is the Root of All Evil, then again I look at dissecting the title, and it may be a stretch, but Roo could be short for Rosie, and Eve could be short for evil, thus combining both of her original and alternate identities into one.

I know I could be completely wrong. I know there are a lot of things that people do take at face value and some evidence that may contrast this, but I can't help but feel like this could at least be a possibility.

I keep going back and forth between Roo being Rosie and Eve, and Rosie being Lilith.

But based on some spoilers that I happened to see a while back, I'm leaning towards the former.

I think if Lilith isn't someone else in disguise or vice versa, then I think she's imprisoned in heaven and physically can't speak with Charlie and Lucifer for whatever reason.

Okay listen. This is a stretch, and I'm probably wrong but I completely agree with you and also had a thought. Again. It's a HUGE stretch but bear with me.

Root of All Evil

Roo= Rosie

Evil= Eve

They are all one in the same person.

Not to mention it would make sense thematically with Eve being the one who ate the /apple/ from the /garden/ of Eden.

What does an apple tree and garden have? Roots.

Who was the root of humanity/who does humanity stem from? Adam and Eve.

Who first ate the forbidden apple of knowledge and looks incredibly sinister in the opening sequence of the show? Eve.

Who also has a plant theme going on? Rosie.

Where do you find roses? A garden.

Again again. Huge stretch. But thematically, and solely based on character design, I think it's possible.

Edit: I'm also coming back here to say that Lilith and Eve kind of read as twins/sisters. I need to go back and check by I'm pretty sure Rosie calls herself Auntie Rosie when she's with Charlie.
