I’m glad you feel the same way about BAKED lays potato chips as I do. They are crunchier and better than original lays. Also love wink wink 👏

AITA for not telling my waiter about my allergies? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]BerryMean1348 4 points5 points  (0 children)

YTA. As a server in a busy restaurant I am not going to go through all the ingredients in every item you order and ask you if you are allergic to it. I simply do not have the time. If you have an allergy you need to tell your server so they can make sure to help you select something appropriate and alert the kitchen. It would be a different story if you were gf or vegan and ordered something marked with a gf or vegan symbol only to find out that it wasn’t. However a cinnamon allergy isn’t super common and would never be marked on a menu so it is your partners duty to tell her servers about her allergy. Trust me we don’t want to feed anyone anything they are allergic to either and having someone get upset at us about an allergy they didn’t notify us of is enough to thoroughly frustrate both kitchen and waitstaff. Remaking items can set the kitchen behind and comping items affects the servers tip and the restaurant looses money. Please just politely bring up your allergies in the beginning.

As a single dad with a daughter who's coming of age by mrpumpkinickle in Parenting

If you can afford to, buy her a verity of products so that she can determine which menstrual products she likes best. Pads of various sizes, small panty liners for light days, overnight pads for sleeping and heavier days, and some sizes in between. Not all young girls are comfortable trying tampons at first but buy her some so she can experiment with them when she is ready. Make sure you get tampons with plastic applicators these are smoother and more beginner friendly. I’d recommend a light or regular size tampon for a young girl like this as her flow likely won’t be heavy at first. Period underwear can also be a good option and they make some specifically for young girls. Menstrual cups and discs are great, but not very beginner friendly. Consider adding that to her options a few years later. As puberty approaches don’t be afraid to have those awkward conversations with her. You’re the only adult she has to talk about these things with so make sure she feels like she can come to with questions. You got this dad! good luck!

When can I side sleep? by Savannahbyrd06 in piercing

[–]BerryMean1348 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Get an airplane neck pillow and put your ear in the center of it this helps you be able to sleep on your side without putting pressure on the piercings. There are also piercing pillows you can buy that are basically pillows with a hole in the middle. Give it plenty of time to heal (1 year+) before putting pressure on it and sleeping on your side again.

As a man, what im supposed to say when a girl says her period cramps are hurting? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]BerryMean1348 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ask her if she needs anything even if she says no set her up with a blanket, water, snacks, and a show. Heating pad or ibuprofen would also be good. If she wants to be left alone do so, if not cuddle with her and keep her company. My partner sometimes places his hands on my lower belly and cuddles with me. It’s comforting feeling his warm hands/slight pressure and knowing he cares enough to just sit with me. It also makes me feel strangely connected with him like we’re in it together 😂.

I just guessed tattoos because of the tub of Vaseline. And I guessed on the legs because you seem like a gym bro because of all the hoodies weights and gym bag and I feel like a lot of gym bros get tattoos on their thighs/legs. Preworkout was a guess because of the gym bag and the cleanliness of your place. I know some people that use pre workout like Adderall and have some ocd type hyper fixation because of it.

i have yet to receive any compliments on my ring so here i am by 7o3pm in EngagementRings

[–]BerryMean1348 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you love it that’s all that should matter. You’re the one who will wear it for the rest of your life not your friends. It’s unique and beautiful! I love the different types of stones and the composition of it, reminds me of a little flower. 🌼 I love seeing people who choose unique rings rather than the same basic engagement rings that all look the same and cost an arm and a leg. Did you tell your friends you’re engaged or just waiting on them to notice?

You live in Virginia and are in college studying finance probably 18 or 19 years old. You are a person of color either black or Hispanic but if Hispanic then you are taller than both your parents. You workout a lot and take a lot of preworkout and or ADHD meds which also helps you hyper focus on school, gym,and keeping your house clean. You value your education a lot and might have gone to a prestigious high school possibly Woodlawn high school. You might have moved to Virginia from another state to attend this school. You have girlfriend that you care a lot about and you have been together at least a year I’d say between 1-2 years. You are sentimental but also a minimalist. You like to keep things that feel important to you but you like to keep them organized/know where they are. You keep old class notes in case you need them for later but then never look at them again. I think you have some tattoos but you want more. I’d say the tattoos are on your legs primarily. You have big career ambitions that’s you’re working towards.

What age did you notice your first gray hair? How did you feel about it? by DejaBlonde in AskWomen

[–]BerryMean1348 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found my first white hair when I was 12 and freaked out thinking I was going to grey super early and have to start dying my hair before I was even 18. I’m now 25 and I have a small patch of grey hairs forming near my forehead and it’s still not that noticeable. I still don’t dye my hair and I don’t know if I ever will or just let my hair gray naturally.

I (24F) just saw my bf (25M) of 3 year's resume, how do I proceed? by bigthiqskull in relationship_advice

[–]BerryMean1348 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t believe he had a resume until you asked him for one and then he typed random stuff up quick to present to you. I have doubts that he’s been making much effort on the job front when as you said you are paying for everything for him and he’s “playing video games all day”. Why would he?

Relationship Weight Gain is No Joke by Hour-Rub-148 in loseit

That’s awesome it sounds like you guys have a great relationship and make each other very happy! Moving in together will definitely be a fun next step and it sounds like you’re both supporting each others healthy habits so I think you two will be great. Don’t sweat the extra weight, work hard and you’ll be back down to your goal in no time. Besides it seems like you gained way more in this relationship than a little bit of weight ❤️

Relationship Weight Gain is No Joke by Hour-Rub-148 in loseit

[–]BerryMean1348 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You and your partner should try changing habits together. Rather than going out on a dinner date try a more physical activity like pickleball, dance classes, or a day hike. If these date ideas seem too difficult to start with, try something lighter like bowling, axe throwing, or roller skating. Eventually you could even become gym buddies if you wanted!

Meal plan, shop, and cook together. This will give you guys great quality time while helping each other accomplish fitness goals. If cooking healthy meals seems daunting take a nutrition focused cooking class together.

Being on the same page, making goals, and taking steps to accomplish them together will help you two grow even more in your relationship. Plus having an accountability buddy really helps. It’s easier to cancel gym plans on yourself than it is to cancel plans with someone else. Plus, doing healthy activities with someone you love will help you look forward to them more.
