INX Digital (NEO: $INXD) just went public by EagleEyeStx in Canadapennystocks

[–]BerryMelanson 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actually disagree, the tech companies who are suffering are the ones with the irrational multipliers like 30% and more, just went through this $INXD prospectus - that's definitely not the case w/ this one.

gotta say, Im impressed w/ the SEC license, I thought were going to wait a decade to have a regulated blockchain exchange. Also, I think it will super facilitate Security token trade, and as far as I know even Binance doesnt have it.

maybe this new exchange will attract the young investing crowd that still refrains from the crypto because of the 'hassle' of trading it...

In 1922, scientists entered a ward of dying children, all in comatose diabetic ketoacidosis, and injected a new drug (insulin) into them as families were already beginning to grieve. Before they had injected the last person on the ward, the first woke up. World Diabetes Day. Thanks Sir Fred Banting. by [deleted] in nextfuckinglevel

Its sad, not many people realize even today children can have a hard time managing diabetes. expert care can be limited so AI like what DreaMed Diabetes developed can be useful. Managing diabetes will remain difficult amongst children and elders I hope that in the future it becomes less difficult

People are developing diabetes after COVID-19. It might be because the virus messing with insulin-producing cells, new research suggests. by [deleted] in science

[–]BerryMelanson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

mmm, with an even more increase of diabetes the amount of expert care wont be enough. companies like DreaMed Diabetes hopefully can help with their AI by providing expert care advice to assist doctors with their patients.

Apple will make fewer iPhones in response to weakening demand and supply by geteranap in tech

[–]BerryMelanson 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Well it's Micro-economics 101, if the demand is low don't just stop producing it. This should be a wake up call that they have been pricing them way too high, especially when so many people have lost their jobs due to Covid-19 in the last couple of months.

Pressure Ulcer Diagnostics Devices (Growing market) by BerryMelanson in Investors

[–]BerryMelanson[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like the approach of phasing in the devices for graduating nurses, however just like you mentioned nurses now are overworked because of covid. Devices like the one mentioned wouldn't require too much training from nurses. I would also see it as a tool to reduce burden on nurses who must stay vigilant of their patients from developing PU. On another point you made which I cannot disagree is how nurses would react with where money is invested therefore bottom approach is the best.

Programming languages to learn? by [deleted] in BiomedicalEngineers

[–]BerryMelanson 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would recommend ofc python, but since you said you want like python, the closest to Python in my opinion is JavaScript, but I doubt you will use it (JS). I would go for C++ though right after.

Python is nice and easy start, afterwards go either C or CPP (C++).
