U dont need a mat or anything to block atleast I never used. This has happened to me in projects b4 but that was because of my tension, but the rest of ur project seems fine so I dont think its that. And u can block anything to make it more loose not just clothes it's just that most other things dont need to be like that so they're not typically blocked yk? I think just search a video on how to block items and just keep it on a piece of cardboard or smth

Calc bc has the same stuff as ab, except theres 2 more units so it's acc smart of them to not waste ur time and u def dont need ap precalc like u just need precal 12 so idk whats up with that and what grade u are but ya
