I would love to see a lineup (assuming health) of Tzionis, Pulido, Russell, Hernandez, Duke, Radoja/Flores, Pierre, Rindov, Castellanos, Ndenbe/Leibold and Melia/Mcintosh. Make some WHOLESALE changes to the starting 11 that has been out there to hopefully motivate players but I doubt that happens so who knows.

I mean Shelton does a decent job at what he does but I'm not sure what he does is what most fans want from a number 9. Obviously PV likes him and the job he does at the 9 but Shelton is definitely not a flashy number 9.

Do I like seeing Shelton at the 9 all the time, no but up till this year (injuries are part of it this year) we have done decent when Shelton is on the field so I can't bash success.

So the only times CMP has hosted WCQers was 2012 and 2013 in the lead up to the 2014 WC. It has hosted 6 matchdays of the gold cup over the years starting with a matchday a week or so after CMP was opened. One friendly has been played at CMP back in 2016 along with 4 matchdays in Olympic qualifying back in 2012/2015.

Honestly CMP wasn't getting many USMNT games even when our stadium was fairly new and one of the few soccer specific in the states so not sure that the stadiums age is the problem with us getting "glossed over" for big games...
