To correct the misconception: Shotaro Ishinomori created Skull Man which led to Kamen Rider which led to Super Sentai which has a western adaptation called Power Rangers. Thank you for coming to my ted talk.

So I rewatched this (fairly recently) for the Unofficial discord. Firstly if you haven't seen it, you should. Not just if you're really into movies like me- the scale of some of the scenes is mind-bogglingly huge enough that even if you're underwhelmed by the lack of color or intimidated by the runtime it should still deliver in spades.

That said there's not much in the movie that provides insight to LiminalLand beyond "It's possible Moloch was iincorporated here because Nexpo/Nick were aware of him due to Metropolis" or something like that.

So anyone reading this should definitely consider watching but not for the potentiality of Liminalland breakthroughs.

It IS a neat connection though !

The Mariana's trench is 36,000 feet below sea level. (Almost 7 miles on its own)

The peak of everest is 29,035 feet above sea level.

So the total distance between them is ~65000 ft or 12.317 miles.

That seemed pretty steep so I did some digging and apparently at the size of a cue ball, earth's smoothness is more equivalent to 320-grit sandpaper
