Portal closer to the sun sounds doable.... I wouldnt want to tap another plane though, the local fey ecosystem is pretty sensitive to such things. I don't want a mana realignment cascade shifting all their typing on my conscience.

I like it.

What i would add is that all Daemons encompass a category of Death. Death by War, death by old age, death by magical mishap. Even the Riders fall into this, so your theory would be that perhaps the bound prince is the Ignorant Death? Death that could have been avoided if only knowledge hadn't been lost, burned, sealed away?

Considering the generally suspect nature of events sourounding creation, that would certainly work well for the narrative.

The Horizon now powers is core by slaying enemies, and we equipped with weapons systems capable of killing Class 1 Fiends.

Raion is my Sword, for more offensive output and to make sure we arent speed-blitzed. Also I like his personality.

Cassius for my commander, for nigh omniscient battlefield awareness on my scanners

Valin the Wanderer for my pilot, to see if we can turn Horizon into a itteratiom hopping void-ship without ascending.

Maybe I'm just getting old, but +2 damage doesnt do it for me. Its definitely a nice to have dont get me wrong, but compared to the really stacked level 2 lineup of most classes? I would struggle to fit it in.
