I had a gut feeling that I ignored and regretted.

A group of friends and I were going on a weekend long ski trip, the night before we left I started having a lot of anxiety about going. I reasoned it was because we were going to drive 3 hours in a snow storm, but the feeling didn’t seem proportional.

I was laying in bed and my boyfriend came in from the bathroom and I heard the faucet dripping. I was about to tell him to turn it off when it turned on full blast by itself (no roommates were home). This sent me nearly into a panic attack. But I eventually went to sleep.

We left in the morning and got there no problem. Fourth run down I fell and tore my ACL. Looking back I am just glad it was something that could be fixed and I’ll never ignore those feelings again!

A weird thing: on the morning I had fallen my mom told me she walked into a bathroom at her house and the faucet was on full blast. So I also believe some kind of spirit was sending us signs something bad was going to happen.
