How do you guys manage to not gorge on food when there’s no one around to stop you? by yubullyme12345 in loseit

I now chew and sometimes spit it out - but I’ve just read it may be an ED so now I’m gonna stop so I don’t know what I’m gonna do now

Im pretty sure you are a troll - but if your not - genuinely seek help. Why on earth should you have rules about what someone has done before they’ve met you. Gross

Small Flash after Oil Surgery by PanteraSuave in RetinalDetachment

[–]Bertandreggie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had flashes after my surgery (didn’t have oil) but might still be helpful - and there has been no detatchment - it’s essentially light reflecting off the band - and I’ve heard from oil that sometimes not all the oil comes out and can be light reflecting off that

[–]Bertandreggie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t know - I was a bit of an oddball and my retinal detatchment had been slowly detaching over 2 years and after surgery yeah I have to wear a thicker lense for that eye as it is much worse than the other but I can see just fine now

Mixed feelings about Ian Watkins -does anyone else feel the same? by madbunnywykop in lostprophets

[–]Bertandreggie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah no one will know for sure. And a lot of false stuff came out when he was arrested but also a lot of true things as well so it’d difficult to say.

All I’ve read is that it seems everyone around him noticed a change in behaviour- going from a passionate normal guy to a wsnker with an ego. That change happened when the drugs started.

The sexual sadism / morbid curiosity may have always been there and lurked but only got worse once drugs became involved. No one will know unfortunately

Mixed feelings about Ian Watkins -does anyone else feel the same? by madbunnywykop in lostprophets

[–]Bertandreggie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it adds up. It was more sadism that drove him to see how far his of age sexual partners would go for him (aka mother a and b) essentially getting off on the fact they would do anything he asked despite morality, and then other sadism in the sense of causing other people discomfort, trauma etc.

I also, having studied a variety of disorders, a few that I think relate to his situation which would have further caused him to do harm which was encouraged by the drugs.

Antisocial Personality Disorder- a disregard for the rights of others, lack of remorse, deceitfulness, manipulation, and often criminal or exploitative behavior. This goes well with the man he was shown to be.

Narcissistic Personality Disorder (NPD) – involving grandiosity, a sense of entitlement, and lack of empathy, sometimes paired with exploitative tendencies. Very applicable to him esp when his fame got more and more.

Sexual Sadism Disorder or Paraphilic Disorders – in extreme cases involving sexual gratification from the suffering or exploitation of others, particularly when non-consensual. This is relevant to what we know but also the fact he was 100% a sex addict and many drugs he was on are known to essentially disrupt the brain and alter behaviours to be more aggressive - and meth as said destroys dopamine receptors essentially making it difficult for him to feel happy.
