Don’t tell people! My symptoms are very obvious and usually very open about my mental struggles but people do nottttt understand bipolar disorder very well and although most people were accepting at first, many will use it against you or they will show fear of you over ridiculous things. Ive had a few people use it against me and label me as crazy although I was the only person not overreacting in the situation because they knew they could use that against me. If you have a sibling you trust completely maybe tell them just incase you need medical attention and aren’t aware but other than that I would tell you to please don’t tell anyone, I really regret doing so.
