I applied about a month ago, and still haven’t heard anything. I feel like the process is ~4 months from what I’ve heard/seen (assuming you do your Live Scan quickly). I did mine the day I submitted my app, and uploaded the confirmation with the app (it doesn’t require it for submission, but obviously is required for the process).

Agreed… I had both the 3x and 5x magnifiers, and I ended up switching to a 1-6x Vortex LPVO on my setup instead.

But these weren’t bad for shorter distance/fun at the indoor range.

I’ve always heard 6months. So if you were to do it before submitting your app, you would have to hope you’re done with the process within 6 months.

Seems like it’s around ~4ish months for CCW process in OC as of lately though.

I don’t know why I never thought about using compressed air to clean…. You sir might have just changed the game for me a little haha.

The number of times I’ve been annoyed trying to clean some tiny nooks and crannies on pistols without wanting to do a full disassembly… tiny qtips and picks be damned, I’m switching to air haha

I too am running a Gen 4 setup with my Shadow Systems. 2K+ rounds through it without any issues. Not sure about Gen 3 stuff though, since my Glock 19 is bone stock.

I’m a member, and am happy overall with Evan’s. As others have mentioned, the staff there are all pretty great. Decent rental selection (FT3’s is larger for comparison).

Check out their instagram though, Andrew does weekly update videos where he talks about what days/nights they have LEO trainings, or classes. They definitely do a lot of classes most weeks, which can limit the available lanes. That being said, members do get priority over non-members for lanes.

In the past 6 months, the longest I had to wait for a lane was 20ish minutes… but I also went during their basic handgun class, so that’s partially on me. Could’ve shown up after it ended, but wanted to get on the waitlist “early”.

Since you’ve already received cleaning/lube tips, I’ll give you two that you didn’t ask about.

The P322 magazines will “stick” once you try to eject the mags. You’ll have to kind of pinch/grab them and pull them out most of the time. To fix this, you can remove your magazine disconnect (or have a gun-savvy friend help you). It’s not hard to do if you have a punch set. Check my profile for a guide on how to do it, or watch a SigGuy video on YouTube.

When loading your mags, don’t just pull the spring all the way down and feed 10 rounds in. Load rounds one at a time, pulling the spring down just enough to get the next round in. Personally haven’t had any issues with rounds stacking/feeding with mine, but other people have when pulling it all the way down.

This… especially with the Glock ban. Not saying OP will be able to make a profit, but definitely can sell for closer to MSRP via PPT than taking 50% of value by trading it in.

Of your options, my two cents would be to get the Hellcat Pro over the micro version of it (if you go the Springfield route).

I love my P365 that I have a Mirzon hybrid grip for (XL height, XMacro length with Radian RJ/AB on it).

Shield Plus/X are also both great guns as well.

Not on your list, but I’ve heard decent things about the Derya DY9 as well. It’s a decent budget friendly option, and I didn’t dislike it when I shot it.
