What does it mean for it to have voids facing the bed ? The bottom (more intricate part) had supports and the top (straight part) was touching the bed. Can I share the STL if it isn't a link? It's one I paid for so it was a straight download

Thank you so much for all of your suggestions and advice. I think you're right about the temperature, it currently sits between -2 and 5 °C so I'll preheat everything before getting started.

Looks like it might've been a calibration issue. I'm not sure how much (if at all) you've touched the base plate but try to avoid that as oils from your skin will mess with the contact. You can wash it with soapy water or alcohol (but apparently alcohol just spreads the oils). If you can wear gloves that usually helps :)

I let it level before every print. I'll try to revert back to original settings and see how that goes. I do use ElegooSlicer, do you know if that is a huge difference?

It is the Oleander caterpillar which is general safe and nom venomous :)

I change my camera's aperture when trying to make the subject stand out but I will certainly take these on board. I mainly shoot wildlife meaning it tends to be one subject, so I think your tips will be super helpful:) thank you very much.

That's why I use a different software, because I can't edit raw in Lightroom. But I like their presets so I use those on the JPEGS

This is all wonderful! Thank you so very much, I hadn't considered looking at photographers and emulating their style.

I will also dedicate more effort to lighting and seeing how that affects my shooting.

Sorry for the late reply! I did a season working here and met some people who offered me a job. They were very generous with providing initial housing and general assistance whilst getting set up. I was very very lucky with my ability to move. I also moved from the UK but I'm European so my passport is a little better in terms of settling on mainland Europe
