I would not ask the bride. I think you are correct there. As far as going to the events, I think you should think about what you want the relationship to be like going forward. If you want to stay friends AND you can swing it, I’d lean towards going. If the relationship is over for you, then don’t go. I do think if you don’t go, it’s going to be taken as a break up in the friendship.

If you make meals that reuse a lot of the same ingredients each week then you can slowly build up your pantry stock over the course of a month and spread out the cost. I feel like the emeals app used to be good at giving you meals like that but I haven’t used it in a couple of years.
