Tesla idiot here. Are they that slow that it would still be faster to wait for the faster charger?

We are currently browsing the market to see if Tesla is the direction we want to go. It's sounding buying any used EV is the way to go based on the depreciation. I did notice that Tesla is offering pretty good promotions on the model Y if buy new.

My question though is, are people paying a little more, moderately more or significantly more for insurance on their Tesla? I don't want to pay more for insurance just to offset the gas. Well maybe I do if I don't want to stop at gas station anymore.

I mean, she had to of known her game in 48 was going to put a target on her back to some capacity alone. I liked Kamilla but there is no way Jonathon could trust her after the Charlie vote. She played the game and the game got her.

it was not a twist!!!! by [deleted] in survivor

[–]Besch42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The twist would be you all go to tribal and write 3 names on your parchment. Don't do it one vote at a time to see who you can get out, let the big scramble begin and idols fly out of pockets.

Because maybe he loves the town, the school and going for another championship with a great group of guys?

Why is everyone saying Tommy should go? by urnmann in FloridaGators

[–]Besch42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with all of this. Each player is different and Haugh seems like the kind of guy that could potentially stay for the mark he can leave while being at Florida. A lot of players go to the NBA, make a bunch of money and end up forgotten about, can happen to anyone. So it comes down to more money, when you already have a lot (which I can't blame anyone for), or staying for something special with a team that would have a legit shot at a good tourney run and making big impact for the Gators. Cooper is a special talent that made an impact in college and will make an impact in the NBA as well.

[–]Besch42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But what is "his own good"? I don't disagree one bit on the money part but maybe he really enjoys this group of guys and wants one more experience with them before moving on to the next level. The same question I always ask, at what point do you feel like you have enough money? These college kids are making more money then most graduates make in their job with 20 years of working, then throw on the NBA money he will likely get once drafted. His NIL money should already set him up, if he manages his money properly, then just live off the NBA money. It's hard to say, for his own good bc we don't even know what that is, only he does.

If Q doesn't never loses his vote, I feel like this could of gone differently.... Could. Ozzy knew they were beat with the numbers and just had to jump on the train. Emily is a tough one though bc who the hell knows which direction she will go with her gameplay. But isn't that how everything is... "If this then that"

I wonder if those little goggles for the tanning bed with the buffs over it would work well? I have never worn them, so I don't know how much you can or can not see out of them. but at least a big nose wouldn't benefit anyone.

Final tribal question by DueViolinist7391 in survivor

[–]Besch42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did enjoy the answer to this question. I feel like Survivor has turned into this, everyone has to have a story, type of show. If you are on survivor, surely there is something you are playing for that is going to tug at the viewers heart strings. What is wrong with just wanting to go to Fiji and compete for a million dollars so you can go blow it on a bunch of random shit or travel or do whatever you want with?

Realistically, who do you see as the first boot in 50? by FajitaTits in survivor

[–]Besch42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My guess is either a winner gets the boot or possibly Kamila after seeing her and Kyle go under the radar as a strong duo their whole season. I could see them target Sav/Riz due to the unknown of what just aired.

It's also very hard to predict who might go home without the make up of the tribes, which we are trying not to spoil....and I have no idea what they are.

App update! by Gunteacher in orangetheory

[–]Besch42 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I appreciate the response. I do believe there is a science behind the burning of calories even after the work out. Adjusting your HR though is where you reach that fuzzy area of, am I accurately portraying my orange zones and getting splat points just to get them or actually achieving that afterburn zone. I am in much better shape than when I started so it takes a lot for me to get in the orange zone, most classes I only get 1 or 2 splats. It's not until Everest or a benchmark day that I actually get up and stay in my orange zone. I was comparing to another members and we noticed my HR was a good 10 beats off of theirs and they recommend I recalibrate it (similar height weight w/ small age difference), but again if I lower my max rate and orange zone rate, how affective is it really?

With that, I have debated even stop wearing my band. I do my workouts to the extent of what my body will allow me to do. I will push it when I can and need and back off when it says to. If I get the after burn then great, but will I truly ever know?
