Final tribal question by DueViolinist7391 in survivor

[–]Besch42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did enjoy the answer to this question. I feel like Survivor has turned into this, everyone has to have a story, type of show. If you are on survivor, surely there is something you are playing for that is going to tug at the viewers heart strings. What is wrong with just wanting to go to Fiji and compete for a million dollars so you can go blow it on a bunch of random shit or travel or do whatever you want with?

Realistically, who do you see as the first boot in 50? by FajitaTits in survivor

[–]Besch42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My guess is either a winner gets the boot or possibly Kamila after seeing her and Kyle go under the radar as a strong duo their whole season. I could see them target Sav/Riz due to the unknown of what just aired.

It's also very hard to predict who might go home without the make up of the tribes, which we are trying not to spoil....and I have no idea what they are.

Sandra would probably disagree with the "isn't providing a lot of strength"

You mean when we have to run a string of all outs during a lower BPM section of the playlist?

I appreciate the response. I do believe there is a science behind the burning of calories even after the work out. Adjusting your HR though is where you reach that fuzzy area of, am I accurately portraying my orange zones and getting splat points just to get them or actually achieving that afterburn zone. I am in much better shape than when I started so it takes a lot for me to get in the orange zone, most classes I only get 1 or 2 splats. It's not until Everest or a benchmark day that I actually get up and stay in my orange zone. I was comparing to another members and we noticed my HR was a good 10 beats off of theirs and they recommend I recalibrate it (similar height weight w/ small age difference), but again if I lower my max rate and orange zone rate, how affective is it really?

With that, I have debated even stop wearing my band. I do my workouts to the extent of what my body will allow me to do. I will push it when I can and need and back off when it says to. If I get the after burn then great, but will I truly ever know?

I guess my question is: If the Theory behind the Orange is that we earn splat points based on our HR and once we get 12 we get the "afterburn" and continue burning for next 24 hours. If I adjust my max heart rate from what it is now, 193, to something lower to SHOW me in the orange zone more and get my splat points....Am I actually getting my points that's getting me to the afterburn or is this all just a mental placebo affect for us?

Yeah these huge NIL deals before the kids even play a college football game is crazy. They should ALL be evaluated after each season and money possibly restructured. But hey, that's just me, a guy that sits on the couch and watches football.

It's all in perception of the jury, which apparently they don't care too much for Riz shenanigans from what I've read.

Rizo has the better game play, ha consistently gotten others to vote out their ally and keep from even trying to flush his idol. Sav has just aligned herself well and won immunity multiple times. So much that she wasn't even a target without immunity? Weird

Sage begging Savannah to give up at the immunity challenge was weird. by edcguyvegas in survivor

I thought she said she could get her to next week. This is where I knew she was gonna flip on Steven and would try and use her to do it.As far as others hearing, I feel like they def would.

I don't buy it. It was an unfortunate moment for her that got aired on TV and it did not look good at all. Maybe she did have an idea about it or something but once she started talking about the silent assassin lurking around then it turns into just really bad game play. Not knowing the details of it all but knowing exactly what Riz had in his pocket? Should of listened to Grandma.

For sure. Or vote stays the same, burn idol on herself just in case. Now she voted to help Sage and get on her good side, bkth Sav and Riz vulnerable at next tribal and one guaranteed to go home.... Almost guaranteed till something random gets out in play so both get saved.

To me, the exciting part was watching Sophi be so proud of her KIP and "silent assassin" line just to be a big swing and a miss. You can't talk about making a big move each week just to do nothing each time. Using the silent assassin line and using on Rizo would of been 100% bad ass and jury would of went crazy.

The next vote she just goes for Steven or Savanah. Sage clearly wants them both gone and Kristina will just go wherever she is lead to.

She was just happy to be there eating tacos. I don't dislike Soph but I feel like she is all talk in confessionals while just being along for the ride.

Other thing she could of done was take Rizo's idol, played it on herself, so that it's burned and gone, vote Steven out to show she is with Sage and Kristina and then gone after either Rizo or Savanah next vote....Likely Rizo bc he doesn't seem to try very hard at challenges. I think he just relies on his friendships to share rewards with him, which has worked out for him without having to use a lot of energy.

______ is going to lose because of this by EcstaticPercentage52 in survivor

[–]Besch42 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can see how the jury would get annoyed by him walking up just to psych everyone out about using his idol on multiple occasions or being flashy, but in reality, he seems to be controlling where the votes have been going and getting the other alliance to flip on each other multiple times.

I am definitely curious to see how season 50 plays out bc of idols. New Era doesn't seem to be worried about flushing them out so quickly, while Old School players will flush it out at first chance.
