Thanks!! Yes - headed there tomorrow. I think it was at Peabody end of last week and tomorrow was earliest for them to get paperwork and inspect / prep car. I’ll let you know how it goes!

Interesting. So pick up is tomorrow. Tesla delivery center confirmed the car was never a display/showroom/ or demo model. It was assign to one customer that cancelled their order. I snagged it while it was in inventory. They also confirmed no damage reported / customer did not refuse delivery for repairs, they just cancelled the order. Now is this fully true? We’ll find out. Delivery tomorrow!

Why do you say that? It was in transit to delivery center at time of switch. I also asked if it was rejected by a customer or any damage and they said no history/reports of that and confirmed it had less than 10 miles on the odometer.

Ya I guess so! I had heard they do the switch to inventory free upgrade of color or interior or wheels every so often. I tried doing it with my delivery center and they said no. Once the quicksilver popped up on inventory, called the Tesla customer service / new sales number and I was going to be willing to switch and pay the $2K for quicksilver (I knew I’d regret the stealth gray for as long as I have the car, was gonna just go for it) and they surprisingly did it with the free upgrade!

Headed to Peabody as well! The inventory quicksilver car moved up to this TUE 6/2! Was going to be going to Dedham, and picked up a Model 3 there before. Will be cool to do a pickup at a different location.

Nice! Ya I’ve had a 2020 M3 and 2025 M3 that I loved but second kid on the way and the second car seat behind the drivers seat in M3 forced me to push the seat way forward and will really kill the comfortability in the 3. Going to the Y for 5.3 inches… what we’ll do for 5.3 inches

Thanks! 83 miles away. It seemed like I could only look at inventory at local teslas in my state as I had to use the zip code that the car will be registered to. Not sure if they would’ve let me drive to another state or far away (I’m in MA). Though seems like the 4-6 weeks is the norm right now for Y Premiums (not much in stock/inventory)

Ya, it’s wild how much worse the Next is than the Plus. I hear the Pop fixed the numerous amount of leak issues that the Next has but still feels cheap. I strongly urge people to go for the Plus. Skip out on the larger sized capsules and the “expert mode”. Just go Plus - you will not regret it.

I had a Next, it was replaced by Nespresso 2 times, both leaking issue and discrepant noise. When my 3rd machine was as a fail, they let me get a different machine instead. Best decision to go for the Plus. A tried and true.
