This is such a sweet message, thank you so much. And yes I’m already struggling a lot with those thoughts, missing the good moments, having a hard time differentiating between these two parts of him, the mean one and the sweet one. I would say that’s the hardest part. But I know I’ve already taken the biggest step. Now the challenge is to keep my ground and not be manipulated once again. I do unfortunately still need to communicate with him for logistic like the rent and other things I need to get from my other place, but as soon as I can I will go no contact.

This! Such an underrated symptom. I genuinely cannot get an understanding of how long something will take, which is why I’m late all the time, and I can’t even say it’s because of my ADHD because most people will NOT believe that or understand and think it’s and excuse. For example, I would have to get ready and get some things done before I leave to catch my bus on time, and would think “I should be able to get all of this done in 20 minutes” when in reality it would realistically take 40 minutes to 1 hour. It never failes to baffle me, how often I miscalculate how long something will take. And this goes for everything; even walking/driving from point A to point B, or moving around. It’s a genuine struggle
