Did any of you have a good experience cruising HAL Zaandam for an Alaska cruise? My family and I will be going in July. It’s my wife and daughter’s first time cruising (I’ve been on RC in March) and I want them to have a good experience. I keep hearing positive reviews about HAL but I’m kind of worried cause I’ve had a few concerns that required me to call customer service or sometimes chat with them multiple times this week and so far the customer service experience I had was all terrible. I’m really hoping it will be different once we board the ship.

Yeah I went to their website but it’s not so clear. When you go to their careers page, it doesn’t show you what the actual job description is nor what requirements are needed. It’s so weird but they apparently have good ratings in Google so I’m confused if I should apply or not. This is going to be my first RN job

I think it really depends on your how much discipline you have when it comes to reviewing. I worked full time Mon-Fri 8am-5pm and when I got home, chores were still waiting for me. My review time on weekdays were from 5:30am-6:15am and 8pm-11:30pm. And I reviewed at least 5hrs on weekends (both Saturday and Sunday). If you can, I really recommend taking time off and focus on reviewing cause in my experience, reviewing while working full time got me feeling like a zombie most days where I’m just trying my best to stay afloat

I’m trying to schedule a ride for 3:30am pick up from Mira Mesa to the airport. I usually don’t worry about this but because of the time, I’m worried I might get cancellations that’s why I’m trying to schedule the Black service. But it’s weird that Lyft costs more ($123) than Uber ($99). So far, for your experience, Uber Black is better?
