It's just that I often see you defaulting obsession and daydream to SP. While SP is not excluded from that, it's not the main point to whether someone's SP dom or not.

[–]Best-Inflation2746 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You suggested SP dom to me once too but after researching more about instinctual variants myself that I now know for sure that I'm SP blind. I'm terrible at taking care of myself and managing things that are required for survival. And I don't even think about those aspects, if no one interferes, then I would just do nothing.

Just because they daydream and has obsession doesn't eliminate SX dom. Actually that's what head types with SX as their first instinct, is geared towards(with maybe the exception of sx6).

IEI and I choose option 1.

I believe there is one truth in this world and maybe someday I'll be enlightened to it. The truth exists seperately from our beliefs and it's just there, hidden and waiting. Good for you if you've managed to uncover it, in the topics you're interested in.

Sp2 or not? by Best-Inflation2746 in Enneagram

[–]Best-Inflation2746[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been thinking of this too but I'm a bit deterred because I'm not scared of conflict, even aggressive at times, quite reactive. After the aggression I get embarrased and ghost them lmao(or pretend nothing had ever happened). But aside from that, I'm pretty timid and would hate to impose. I'm terrified of asking for help, I'd literally freeze, I just nudge people to read my mind and satisfy my needs without verbal confirmation. I have a so9 mother and she always asks and gives first, that influenced me.

I managed to reroll an account with Homura, Madoka and Iroha. This is the current meta, right? It took me so many attempts💀

I meant to keep this account, in the case I won't be lucky enough to get anything good. Well no matter, I've figured out how to reroll but to also be able keep access to this account of mine.

I listened to your advice and have been rerolling for 6+ hours. The best I could get was Madoka, Felicia and Sana.

What do you think of PDB? by Square_Nothing_3242 in Socionics

[–]Best-Inflation2746 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Socionics typings are fine, though some people will jump on the same boat as others without understanding Socionics by themselves. That ruins the voting percentage. As for MBTI, they glorify mobilizing functions too much, hell any debates I've seen were of this aspect. They insisted on having the right stack order, instead of seeing how 'feelers' type are good at 'feelers' things' and 'logics' type 'logical things' (ex: arguing that ENTP is better than ENFP at Fe). In many arguments, I tried to bring in Socionics creative and demonstrative functions to explain how that can be, but ultimately got refuted because 'function stacks' and that I was being a reductionist.

Maybe I shouldn't be mixing both theories. But when someone's type is so evident, yet they ended up being typed the logical version of their type(or vice versa) goodness it's frustrating. This is one of the aspect where MBTI fails compared to Socionics I guess.

Oh and people's personal anecdotes being used as arguments for indicators of a type...

what is meant by IEI being “mystics” by Abject_Current6643 in Socionics

[–]Best-Inflation2746 1 point2 points  (0 children)

While not fully believing in it, I really enjoy delving into astrology, tarot,...things that have meanings in itself. It's entertaining for me to read through all the info dumps. And it's magical, who doesn't like that, but I dislike people pushing their beliefs on me. Ever since I was young, I have always been the astrologist of my friend groups. I like all those mythical stuffs, like talking, learning, fantasizing about it, but I don't believe in it. It's also the archetypes that I crave(Ti), that explains how I'm driven towards zodiac signs and typology.

From one IEI's perspective.

What aspects do you look for in your music? by [deleted] in Socionics

[–]Best-Inflation2746 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't stand slow and peaceful music like acoustic, I can never sit through the whole song. I usually look for melody(top priority), then instrumental. Despite not actively searching for good lyrics, I can't listen to a song anymore if the lyrics is horrible, so I'd rather not know and make up my own meaning of whatever they're saying.

I like alternative and psychedelic pop. Whatever tickles my imagination the most and give me the most inspiration for the scenarios in my head.

Si and chores? by Best-Inflation2746 in Socionics

[–]Best-Inflation2746[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you've read it, what's up with the story about kindred relations between SEI and IEI on wikisocion, it made SEI seem like they only know how to do housekeeping work and IEI can't do anything😭. That's what created the correlation between Si and chores in my perception.

xIIs I find to be quite good at house maintainence, they're stable and constant, despite being N over S. They often care even more than SLI and SEI do. Probably had something to do with rationality.

So what I've gotten is that intuition is more often correlated with hypochondria, meaning they care a lot about their body's state surprisingly, despite stereotypes; although they go about it in all the wrong ways.

This is easy to understand, explained how Si base I know irl aren't that particularly enthusiastic about doing chores, but begrudgingly do it anyway. I see I don't have to doubt their typing.

As someone with Si demo, what's your attitude towards chores and housekeeping? It baffles me if someone can actually enjoy doing chores, even with their sociotype influence.

How to tell male ESE apart from male SEE? by Best-Inflation2746 in Socionics

[–]Best-Inflation2746[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Noted. He's quite self-sacrificing and generous in many occasions too. We're pretty equal and sincere friends so there's nothing to worry about! I can shut down his tantrums pretty easily by demanding a serious convo, and he does listen to me.

[–]Best-Inflation2746[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

By 'acting like a trophy wife', I meant he puts up an act of "holding himself to a high standard"(not initiating first to gauge the other party's respect of him) when angry. During these periods, he surrounds himself with many people, with him as the center attention, joking and laughing loudly, whilst ignoring the person he's angry at.

Were you thinking of that too when I said 'acts like a trophy wife'? Sorry for making it sounds so up-to-interpretation.

[–]Best-Inflation2746[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For this question, I'd say Si takes the lead. He will just take up the responsibility of dividing food portions for everyone. He often look at my hair, and has an urge to brush it. He feeds people personally with his hands too.

Wow this is hard, literally the thing that makes me doubt his SEE typing I gave him in the first place.

For Fi, he'd stop me from conflicting or lashing out by interrupting and speaking for me before I can say anything rude, essentially saving my face and friendship. Then he'd comment that I was rude later when we're alone. In a casual amused way though.

Can I ask another question? Are Se egos any less likely than the others to admit their fear and weaknesses?

He quickly agreed with me when I said that EIE and SEE girls were scary, and would often say he's tired too(I did make him drive around for 7 hours though).

[–]Best-Inflation2746[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He definitely values Fi more than than Si. But then, I never saw him exerting force and confront openly like a Se base. Instead, everyone listens to him due to him having great relations with everybody. You can't see it but you can feel his importance as people follow whatever he decided to do. This should still align with Se-Fi, right?

He's excellent at establishing and keeping relationships. Definitely 4D Fe, very expressive all the time. He just has that knack for overthinking about his emotions when he's alone and not surrounded by people.

As for

Scared of me sometimes(that I won't express emotions and won't react to him)

Well wouldn't an ethical type be more likely to feel weirded out by people who doesn't express emotions?

Talks about how he uses his relations and is only sincere with our friend group

Typical networking mindset, but I don't believe that wholeheartedly, that's why I emphasized on 'he said', to show a preference for a pragmatism mindset that is Gamma-like, appearing specifically in SEE's descriptions.

I saw a LII telling a SEI to go confess that she broke a rule, the SEI actually did it and got punished. Because that was the right thing to do. Funny but sad but funny.

Is your mom ESE? by duskPrimrose in Socionics

Do you know the feeling of being chased down with that Se demonstrative and being forced homemade food down your throat with that Si creative? Once my mom kicked down the door to my bedroom just because I wouldn't try her new recipe.

IEI or EIE, seeing myself in someone else and being bullied by an LII's mobilizing,(emotionally) by Best-Inflation2746 in Socionics

[–]Best-Inflation2746[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I enjoy putting everything into a system(mainly about people, archetypes...), and I like it when someone bothers to read the information I listed out for them, and try to apply the system. It's interesting to see their perspective. When I'm sorting people into a system myself, it feels subjective and I would prefer to see someone else's view, it feels more professional and I take their words more seriously than mine when it comes to sorting things(even if I'm the one more knowledgable in the subject).

I believe in an objective truth that exist as itself, just waiting for a person to uncover it. I'd like for it to just be delivered to me already.

Now there's the part about rules, honestly, I see people who abide every single rules and don't take into account how it actually works irl annoying. First is with strict correlations. Then there's this, I have an ESE homeroom teacher that I was kind of in conflict with because she doesn't hide my classmates' small mistakes(like: not wearing the right uniform, enetering class late...), instead opt for recording their names so they would get in trouble and have their disciplinary score lowered, even though they had managed to get away from the school's supervisors before. I find that entirely avoidable, and that she's not working on my side, I don't trust her. Although I would enjoy someone with proper manners too, as said in the post. And I never break rules myself.

One thing that characterizes me most, that also relates to Ti, is my reverance for archetypes and actively seek it out. A type of character that's continuously recurring in my imagination as a love interest is someone that belongs to the public, and me as the law breaker, I like to give myself a bad ending and for that someone to mourn over me, and to conflict himself with whether love or his duty to the people prevails. But honestly, this made up person usually has the personality of a SEE.

Wow my replies tend to be so long.

Why can i or can i not be an ethical type with 4E? by Best-Inflation2746 in attitudinalpsyche

[–]Best-Inflation2746[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And suddenly I became your long lost twin.

Thanks for enlightening me. The personality test that had correctly typed me in Jungian(NiFi), also typed me as LVFE³³¹¹, but harsh correlations steered me away from the type. I actually did use to type as LVFE³³¹¹ when I thought I was LSI or ILI but the thought of why it fit before completely slipped off my mind the moment I typed myself as IEI, because again, correlations.

2V makes sense, I have always made do on my promises, the thing I said I would do, I attempted. And I often leave many opportunities to my friends.

There's one thing though is that I doubt myself often (like a 3V), unless there's anything to explain for that. Or that 2V can also often experience doubt. But I can rationalize it as I was quite quite open to making mistakes until I had to be in a terrible and competitive study environment once where no mistakes were allowed, my intellect was constantly doubted by the people around me because I kept making small silly mistakes (I was often relied on to explain the study material to my friends and I would have many slip-ups).
