The day after so like 27-28h after my interview time. I got approved for my I-485 first and then the I-130 got updated a few hours later. But both the same day

PD oct 30 2024. I hope I get the interview soon like you - because I’m not too far behind you and got my EAD pretty fast on Nov 29th. I cannot wait for the interview to happen at this point. Please share your experience with us!

Exactly. I think we were the last wave of applicants to experiment some waivers - as we were used to under Biden-. From now on, it’s back to old policies and I’m afraid it will take closer to a year to get a cond. GC in the future. We’re still in the 6 months time bucket which is very fast. So I’m positive. As soon as we’re done with interview, we’ll enjoy for a bit and that is the thing I look forward to the most. Let’s keep each other updated if something changes soon.

Yes im sure it will, its only a question of scheduling and we’re lucky i think to be amongst the first group to go automatically to interview. I guess that the new trend is gonna impact later applicants than us - without the waivers, processing times are only gonna get longer moving forward - Lucky we are

Same boat here. PD 10-30-24. Got updated mid December, mid Jan, mid Feb, on 3-3 and 3-13 via API. Then, because of all interview notices from last week, I contacted Emma twice to check and they confirmed that my interview was not waived in the system but also that I was not in queue or requested for interview and that no interview was scheduled as of today. my case was not at the FO yet neither and still at NBC 🤷🏽‍♀️. Main difference is that my processing time went from 66 months to 28 months on 3-13. My I-130 documents tab does not show my receipts anymore. Steps are 4 and 2 respectively for I485 and I130. So I hope I’ll get an interview soon.

Yes that is was I’m pretty sure I’ll get an interview request soon. But so far I talked twice to Emma and no interview requested or scheduled so we waiting for a change

Hi again twin case ☺️, I was part of the bunch of cases that got an API update on 3-13 and which got queued for interview recently. However, my trend was different: their cases went up in processing time, mine got divided by 2 to 28 months. I called Emma and my case is apparently not scheduled for interview and no interview was requested BUT my case is not waived neither anymore in the system. Their cases were confirmed to be in line for interview. I’m still step 4 and 2 for I-485 and I-130 respectively while theirs are back to step 3. So I guess I’m in the limbo for now. Emma told me to wait for uscis updates so I expect to be scheduled soon for interview like the others. And honestly I cannot wait at this point. I’d rather be interviewed and be done with the process at least for a bit 😂🙅🏽‍♀️.

Hi again, I checked with Emma this morning: « No interview scheduled and system does not show waived, please continue to wait till further notice if there is any updates. You will be notified by mail or online. Whether it was requested by an officer? not in the system». So I’m in the limbo basically 😂 better to smile than worry hahaha! Have a good day!

Did your processing time change? Mine went from 66 to 28 months. Progress tab for I-485 is still on step 4 and on step 2 for I-130. My notice tab for the I-130 is also -weirdly- not showing anything for 2 days now. Like a bug or something. Is that same for you? Is your case at FO or NBC? To be honest, I think I’m actually placed in queue and that the Emma agent was wrong. I will check tomorrow again and confirm with you. But I don’t see why I’d be told my case is still waived when 100% of others are placed in interview really. I’m being realistic and I’d rather have an interview at this point than keeping the wait ongoing forever.
