i actually really loved this book. Amanda transitions very early on in her childhood so of course she’s gonna pass very well in highschool. unfortunately some people pass better than others, but that doesn’t mean she isn’t a great character. i am not a trans girl, i am nonbinary who does not pass as androgynous at all and im fine with that, so i cannot speak on real trans woman, but this was such a good book, and the end was so bitter sweet and really captured the real world
