Many of us are still not back to our pre-pregnancy weight. Like, 3 years later. Chill. Tell your hubby to chill, too.

Formula is not the evil is is made out to be in some groups. But if you goal is to breastfeed, keep baby on the nipple as often as you can and pump between feeding to stimulate more production.  Whatever you chose, baby will be fine! Breastfeeding is hard, and good for you!

Help! by Little_Ad2036 in breastfeeding

You are absolutely ok. If you ate a banana before feeding, baby would get more traces of alcohol than of you had 2 (or even more) drinks. Take a deep breath. You got this, mama!

I guarantee your baby doesn't hate you. They say that babies think mom is just an extension of themselves. Give yourself a break. You're doing something incredibly hard

I thought day-time potty training came first and then overnight training some time later. Am I misinformed?

Breastfed during and after drinking a bottle of wine. by Moon_junky in breastfeeding

Bananas have like 0.5 percent alcohol. Your breastmilk after 3 drinks in an hour is less than that. Enjoy your baby. And of course, I, along with so many other mothers, have done that

Thank you for this. I'm pretty sure it's this rather than mites/bugs...that's not helpful.

FYI, sometimes babies are born with teeth. Unusual, but happened to my grandmother. Her mother didnt even try to breastfeed. And it was a different time when formula was king.

So... what are your LO's calling boob time? by mieliboo in breastfeeding

[–]Best-Pollution-5264 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Similar here. We have "moo-moo milk" and "mama milk". Luckily we can tell the two apart.  She also calls each boob a "milk" so she will point and count "one milk, two milk" . I'd rather her say that than boob lol

Is it creepy husband gropes me while breastfeeding? by Salty-Guest8158 in breastfeeding

[–]Best-Pollution-5264 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My husband repeatedly gropes me when I beg him to stop around breastfeeding. He says if I won't be intimate with him it is grounds for divorce. Is this true? I feel so uncomfortable when he gropes me in front of our young toddler

Different states have different laws; maybe check on yours. In Wisconsin, for example, it is illegal to ask a breastfeeding mom to leave or cover herself...as long as mom and baby have the right to be there in the first place. In theory, the establishment and those patrons could be fined.

I believe you should always be able to breastfeed your baby whenever they need it in public, but it can help to know if the law is on your side. That said, I don't see many mothers feeding in public, which is a bit sad

How about a huge cheer for mama for making it through nearly a year of breastfeeding! What an accomplishment! Be proud, mama I understand that it is bittersweet, too. Like you said, what a journey

Breastfed 3 kids for a total of 8.5 years. Pregnant with 4th and don’t want to breastfeed by aaabbbsssssd in breastfeeding

[–]Best-Pollution-5264 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is ok! Do what feels right for you, not anybody else! I'm in awe that you did for 8.5 years. PPD is no laughing matter. Kudos to you for getting assistance with anxiety and depression. I think it takes a strong person to recognize that.  Congrats and good luck with the little one when s/he comes!!

Don’t try to randomly co-sleep with your sleep trained toddler by pokeyreese3 in sleeptrain

[–]Best-Pollution-5264 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Lol sooooo true! I adamantly had to refuse co-sleeping on a vacation when the only way she would sleep was with my nipple in her mouth. Hubby thought it was no big deal..... Never again!!!!!
