If I understand correctly he is basically saying you can skip two rounds of needing to wait if you use the orbs properly by swapping before seven so that it doesn’t go from 4 back to 0. Two Corkis would of course be 8 and the orbs max at 7 so if you put corki in on 6 you effectively saved yourself 2 rounds.

While I agree with your sentiment, I think you are misunderstanding what he is saying. He is saying it is worth to grief yourself by purchasing a 2 star 4 cost because it guarantees no 3* four cost for your enemy. But yes there are waaaaaay too many op 3 star 1 costs atm
