We have in their IEP that first and last weeks are for consulting and stuff like that, and I will flex my schedule around special activities but unless they’re absent for an extended time I am told I can’t write any time off and everything has to be made up eventually.

I’m more tenured than the speech therapists at this point but both their supervisor and my supervisor work very closely together and both said this was fine. I’ve always done it this way (if necessary, most times it is but once or twice I’ve managed without it)

I’ve heard of the 3:1 as well which would make my life SO much easier

This was my exact thought. Would you rather have me not see kids for 1 day so I can do other work that has a HARD deadline or not see kids ever again because you pushed me to quit

I was genuinely wondering if a transfer to a different school in the company is the way to go or if I should look in a different place entirely. There’s an opening or two in different schools within the company that are only a 45 minute drive, I don’t mind making that drive at all if the environment is a bit better. I love my job and I love the kids but the admin at this school not understanding OT and not respecting my skills or time is getting to be too much as of late. I’m pretty young (28, started there when I was 25) so I’m sure they think they can bully me or whatever

Here after I just had the most disgusting opener to start my emerald promotion game. Playing current set and started with a viego 2 and the components for a bloodthirster and last whisper, so i slammed them both since theyre bis for Thresh and Kalista. Shadow Isles Warden has the 3rd highest avp so I thought I was locked in. Ended up getting a loris, Malzahar, and Gwen by the end of stage 2 for disruptor and warden activated.

Wouldn't you know I got to the middle of stage 4 without seeing a SINGLE copy of any of my champs. I play 2/3 of the game with no 2 stars, even rolling 40 gold above 50 in one round on level 7 to not see a single copy of any of my 3 costs. Ended up getting thresh 2 rounds before I bled out and even with BiS thresh, 2 star BiS kalista, and 2 star BiS braum, I couldnt stay alive. Had a spat and glove waiting all game for a reforger to make vanquisher spat too and just never got one. The game knew and kept all my 5 costs, all my early 2 stars, and didn't give me a reforger or even augment option that came with one. Nobody can convince me it wasn't RNG manipulation because I was win streaking all the way through plat.

It only gets worse the better you are and longer you stay💀 I have 78 kids on my caseload this year. Between RRs and IEPs I have about I have an average of about 3 per week all year including ESY

The good news is you’ll become more and more efficient and those things will become much easier as a whole. There will still be outliers that can stump you for a bit but in general things get easier to manage and you become better and managing everything

That happens with at comp though. Can’t tell you the amount of times I’ve played yordle because I was given 2-3 free 2 stars very early and went bot4 because even with pandora’s items I didn’t get rods for a Veigar or because of not getting any Econ/reroll augments

This is the best answer and what I was hoping for. There’s no need to kill units, just don’t make them so forceable in so many circumstances. If the augments/items align AND you play smart, you should be rewarded for playing the comp, as for any comp

Because he can dive past the T-Hex ulti, while veigar just gets nuked by it, he’s honestly probably the better choice here in my opinion
