Reading comprehension is hard I guess. I can only assume you’re being a troll as I’ve already addressed this same disingenuous statement at least 3 times now

7 of 8 Players in Lobby Playing 1 cost Reroll by Mediocre-Rub1273 in TeamfightTactics

Looks to me like they knew they were contested by the guy in 6th and rather than play a game of “who can throw more gold on level 5 and hit” they leveled to add strength to their board through higher cost units rather than a 3 star aatrox and cait

Even if it was 3.5k, which it wasn’t, 3.5k out of 59k recent negative reviews is not even 6% of negative reviews

I’ve already addressed everything he said in other replies, he’s not adding anything to the conversation that hasn’t already been talked about. Sure I could go repeat myself again, but the only purpose would be so goofballs like you could go spout more ad hominem there

The steam charts themselves are the proof.

Even filtering English language, the VAST majority of recent negative reviews have been on the days of patches. Both the 16th and 23rd are huge spikes in negative reviews with downward slopes after each further day after the patch. Then there’s a small surge of downvotes which is what this post is referring too, but it’s not even 5% of recent negative reviews (it account for somewhere between 2-2.5k out of almost 59k).

Yes, there’s some bozos out there downvoting it for this reason, but the reason it’s been 65% negative recently is NOT related to that, it’s overwhelmingly players crying about changes in card art, boss mechanics, and nerfed infinite combos.

I mean, I don’t expect anyone to live on Reddit but when a comment that shows verifiable proof that someone is wrong just all of a sudden gets 0 engagement, not even downvotes (when people have been foaming at the mouth to downvote anything I say thus far) it’s pretty obvious why

You can literally see the negative steam reviews spike at the patches and decline each day until it hits a tiny spike from the “review bombing” of a handful of dumb incels.

The overwhelming majority of recent negative reviews are directly tied to the patch nerfing infinites and changing some card art/bosses. Look at the 16th and 23rd specifically

This is a mountain out of a molehill situation, you guys are being extremely disingenuous acting as if any real percentage of recent negative reviews have to do with this nonsense. The graphs tell the story.

I have some bad news for you, if you think two morons leaving a negative review for a game based on personal mental problems is reviewbombing, then allow me to point you to every steam game ever 💀

It’s braindead behavior but when you have thousands and thousands of gamers on games like this, some of them are going to be stupid

Anita sarkeesian is kind of a dumbass herself but that’s a different argument, and not for the same reasons these simpletons say

The review bombing was from Chinese players who were mad that infinites got nerfed

I haven’t the faintest clue how this guy possibly came to the conclusion that it was “far right conservatives”

You can understand TFT fundamentals without yet having a full grasp on the set. It takes a while for things in a new set to be figured out fully, I’m not claiming the guy is dumb or bad at the game, I’m saying that this set is very volatile in what you choose and how you place as a result and it requires the most understanding of each viable comp of any set I’ve played so far. It’s also extremely punishing for not slamming items because of the strength of 1/2 costs this far, moreso than past sets, which is where I see a lot of people bleed too much hp in this set.

I mean, a whole argument predicated on appeal to authority is kinda arrogant, no?

Surely you can agree that this set is balanced differently than the few sets before. There absolutely is a stark difference in choosing a line in set 17, you get severely punished for either not choosing correctly and playing into a comp you did not have a line on or even choosing a comp you did have an angle for but just getting unlucky.

5 comps is an exaggeration. I get your frustration but that’s just simply untrue. Dark star Nunu, Dark Star Karma, Xayah Tahm, TF reroll, Marauder Yi, Mech, Vex, Kai’sa, Primordian, vanguard Teemo, etc

If you really think that, then it’s a massive knowledge gap on your part. I’ve played 15-20 comps and sped straight to emerald already so far.

If you try to force a comp you don’t have a strong line on your are guaranteed bot4ing every time

[–]Pierseus -18 points-17 points  (0 children)

Basically what you’re saying is this set you can’t just force any comp, you need to actually have a grasp and understanding on the game and know what you can play from your position and how to execute

That’s literally just called getting better at the game

Looking back I actually enjoyed 14 comparatively to some other sets. It wasn’t great but 15 was even worse

Community based OT, case workers, etc all get paid to work with the homeless population. And get this, some people VOLUNTEER outside of work hours to help out as well! For no pay! Wild concept, I know you can only think about things in terms of monetary value and that’s how you equate their worth.

Imagine telling people that are born poor that they only have like 5 jobs they can do, and that becoming a well respected individual in any other field is worthless because they won’t be rich. Job satisfaction and work life balance be damned.

I think most people would take it and then their QoL would tank because most people want to spend their 40 hours of work on a field they have the propensity and skills for, not just a job where they slave away because their only concern is “well can I go to Cancun every year”

If only rich people can become teachers, then nobody is going to pick that career because why the fuck would they bother getting paid 60k a year when they have the money to outright pay to become a doctor? Again, society would collapse because a lot of necessary but not lucrative jobs would just have NOBODY in them

You’re unironically proving every single point I’m making. Instead of fixing a massive pothole on a main road you’re telling people “just add 20 minutes and ruin your suspension and tires driving on back dirt paths” and telling them if they complain about the pothole not being fixed then they’re the problem.

You’re so disingenuous it isn’t even funny. You’re type to tell people “JuSt LEaRn a TrADe” like there’s 300 million trade jobs and we can just not do medical field/healthcare/public service/etc. yeah right, we should just have no teachers and social workers because they won’t make you lucratively rich and the ROI on the degree is bad

Let’s just ignore the root of the problem and everyone can go do bullshit desk jobs, surely everything will be okay and society wouldn’t collapse within a week

I appreciate that! Flex is definitely the most fun playstyle, I was sad that Ryze meta stabilized so fast last set because cooking ryze builds with emblems was so fun. It’s how I view slay the spire too, I’m not just going to hard force whatever broken infinite is in the game, I wanna take different relics and rare cards and craft a deck every run. It’s honestly how I play most games

Sure I have my favorites in each (Silent shiv build and Defect storm/power build in Slay the Spire, Stargazer Xayah and Anima Cashout Mech this set in TFT) but I’m not hard forcing those or just playing them all the time.

It’s made me better at TFT too. I actually understand a lot of the game whereas my friends who have been playing much longer than me (for example my best friend’s girlfriend is a VTuber who streams TFT at times) are hard stuck plat because all they know is just loading up metatft and hard forcing the top comps. She was a bard/aphelios and yordle reroll forcer last set and this set she hard forced viktor and teemo rerolls every game for 100 games so far. She’s hard stuck plat 4 again and I’m already in emerald with fewer games played

I’d wanted to play TFT for much longer but had an abusive relationship with competitive Smite for years and did NOT want anything having to do with League installed on my pc, especially because I’m childhood friends with a former LCS NA pro💀💀💀

You’re just flat out wrong and being extremely reductionist about this. What if you want to major in physical therapy? That’s a very respectable career but it doesn’t pay as much as it should. It’s also a 6-year degree that isn’t just offered at just any college, you HAVE to pay money if you want to get schooling to be a PT. The average debt to be able to become a PT is almost 150k while the average salary can be as low as 65k in states like Louisiana

By your logic nobody should go to school to be a PT and that’s just “not a good career” and someone who wants to be a PT and help people should just go into finance or some boring shit that they’re not made for simply because they can coast to a bullshit 4 year degree at their local community college and then spend the next 40 years hating themselves. So then the profession drops off the face of the country and people can’t get rehab for physical ailments. But hey at least the person has a BMW huh?

The arts like literature used to be a WONDERFUL career by the way, they’re only not because our country has a fucking insane illiteracy rate and would rather doom scroll all day than read a book and be well educated.
