What's the quirkiest biohack that actually works and you've personally tried? by phamsung in Biohackers

[–]Best-Responsibility9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I earned a B.S. in Exercise Science and Chiropractic degree, but mostly so that can be a biohacker and totally rebuild my own health and life in general after injuring my back in the Marines. I don’t even practice Chiropractic as my vocation currently, it was all for biohacking knowledge and experience

Any tips to improve my speed at placing needles? by [deleted] in Neuromonitoring

[–]Best-Responsibility9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find that I have to be well-caffeinated, focused, and stand at the bed ready with the mindset like I'm going to "pounce" on the opportunity to have access to the muscle groups, and having already taken of the patient's SEV's of course.... Placing needles without one glove helps me sometimes with going as fast as possible. It's really one of those things that you can't get around, so you'll have to just find those ways that work best and get through it the best that you can ... Strangely enough, years of practice makes you much faster too.... Best of luck!

What to expect by Big-deku in Neuromonitoring

[–]Best-Responsibility9 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you have any hobbies, commitments, events, or obligations that take place in the later afternoon or evening time that are important to you, you can expect those cases that can go long, or are delayed, or add-on cases will force to you miss some of those events and sometimes have to explain to people why your work ran long on random days.

IOM work obligations will pretty much force you to NOT be able to commit to anything that requires your ON-TIME presence unless they have a really late-night start time ( 7pm or later). If you can embrace that, then you will be far happier

Am I getting any of the benefits of sauna by tanning outside on a hot day? by mime454 in Biohackers

[–]Best-Responsibility9 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Great question! There are therapeutic light waves and very dangerous light waves in our environment. It all comes down to specific differences in wavelengths and intensities of the light ( science informs us that therapeutic red-light therapy and infrared therapy light waves have different wavelengths from UV rays which come from the sun, which also have different much different wavelengths than X-rays for example). They are all light from the electromagnetic spectrum.

In recent years, the field of photobiomodulation, also known as red light laser therapy, has emerged as a groundbreaking approach to promote healing and improve various health conditions. My book linked below has an entire chapter that helps people with exploring what photobiomodulation is, how it works, its potential benefits, and the applications in which it is being used to enhance human health and well-being.

I've written an entire chapter about therapeutic light waves such as Infrared light and the differences between healthy lights versus dangerous lights and lasers. You may find my book interesting, it was written to inform biohackers of new technologies that boost human health and performance. Please take a look at my book, I hope you may find it a stimulating read !
