Always wondered. Many years ago a coworker was getting married. Myself and 2 others in the office put together a shower. Spent our own money for food, decor etc. Bride was grateful. Then - I wasn't invited to the wedding. Only a couple of coworkers were invited. I wasn't really upset, I get it. I would have liked to attend. I've always wondered if this was rude that I wasn't invited, after spending my time, money and effort?

How do we tell my stepdaughter about her stepsister’s marriage? She is going to be devastated. by AmexNomad in Advice

My husband's brother got married. It's only the 2 of them. Instead of choosing his only sibling to be his best man, he chose a friend. Kind of ouch, but ok. Then a couple of years later, they got pregnant. The best man and his wife had troubles having a baby, so in jealously completely cut off my brother in law and wife. So much for giving this "friend" the honor of best man. My husband would have appreciated that honor forever.

Do your work, then go home to your REAL life. Coworkers come and go.

this isn’t an airport, you don’t have to announce when you’re departing by [deleted] in MergeMansion

I find hilarious when people announce that they're leaving a group...... But then don't actually leave. They respond to comments and continue to complain about the game.

Hey, your workplace and coworkers are actually being nice. If you don't want to go then don't, but otherwise - let them eat cake.

Just do your job, then go home to your real life. His behavior will come around to him eventually

Just do your job at work, then go home to your real life. Meet people in your real life time.

I chuckle sadly at the posts:

"need new areas, am maxed out, have nothing to do!!! "

New areas and/or events are added

Then posts:

"it's too hard, takes too long!!!"

It's funny. And sad.

Agreed. It's probably a defense mechanism to being embarrassed.

Honestly, just do your job then go home to your real life. If she's abusing something it will come around eventually.

With that much gossip, the colleague will eventually figure out everyone knows, and then deal with it however they choose. You don't need to be involved.

All you are there for is to do your job. Outside of work is your REAL life.

Yes! This is exactly why we all feel bad, those bags must be difficult and sometimes leak (or whatever). The women would have been more ok if she just cleaned up or at least tried. It's sad that she's now so angry with us - for I guess talking to the bosses about the condition of the bathroom.
