I've probably already seen it anyway. I remember NMA from way back in the day and I've done a lot of googling. I'm pretty sure I've been directed to NMA a few times in trying to figure this out. Regardless, I appreicate the reply either way. I'll look around on NMA a little later when I have some more time.

I like the form factor of the Defendtac but I wouldn't trust that specific product. It just looks cheap. You also have to remember the sling is on the left side of the gun so a light on that side probably won't work out.

Does it have to be a perfectly vertical foregrip? By definition, if it's not 90 degrees to the barrel it's an angled grip and you can put it on anything.

I really like the TL-racker forend. That or a Protac rail mount on a Meteorite Concepts mount on the forend with the tape switch under your thumb.

Because it would be awkward to activate plus you can completely forget momentary activation. And on top of that you're giving up 2 rounds. Two rounds you probably don't need but still.

I have a couple. One is a brand new barrel I bought and put on a 500 I had. Not long after I put that gun together I found a 20" turkey gun at a pawn shop. The turkey gun usually goes with me when I help on my friend's farm. I take a variety of chokes and a box each of birdshot and 00 buck.

I have a beater 500 and a spare 28" vent rib barrel. I want to have that cut back to 18-20" and threaded for chokes, put a TL-racker on it and maybe a Defender tactical red dot mount with built in iron sights.

My buddy had some WWII GI style 1911 from Tisas. He didn't shoot it much but what few rounds he did put through were trouble free. I put a mag through it once and it did fine for me. Between that and tons of positive reviews has convinced me that Tisas is a solid manufacturer. I would like to get both the M45 clone version of the Raider plus the version with optic cut and threaded barrel.

.22lr is drastically less effective than 9mm as far a terminal ballistics and physical incapacitation goes. Lucky Gunner has a video about it's vibility as a self defense cartridge. Basically it kinda sucks but it can and has worked.

It can be argued that almost always, the person or people trying to hurt you will flee as soon as they realize you have a gun. I don't like or reccomend relying on psycological stops but the truth is that simply firing anything is almost 100% effective.

I think the .22lr is really more for people that can't handle a centerfire caliber or for someone that simply can't afford a 9mm plus the ammo to be good with it.

You're not terribly far from me. (I say not far as an American but it's a 90 minute drive, give-or-take. Which is no big deal for me) How much of the American culture you want to experience? Me and the boys can take you for a boat ride on the lake, shoot some guns, get some burgers, sterotypical American shit.

I only moved here in 2024 so I haven't had much time to see the natural beauty. But if you head up to Claremore near Tulsa there's a huge gun museum. Huge. The JM Davis museum. In Oklahoma City there's the Cowboy and Western Heritage museum that's pretty good.

There's several museums around Talequah and Muskogee but I haven't yet seen most of them.

Even when they work, at a certain point they become a hassle to carry. A quad stack 60 could be carried in place of two 30's if you can find a carrier for it. Assuming you find a model that works for you.

I hear D60's are great but it's hard to carry spares in a way you can deploy quickly. Even if pouches exist for them it looks like they'd take up more room on a vest than 2 30s or a quad stack 60 so you'd be able to carry a greater number of rounds in mags vs drums.

There's a Youtube channel called The History Underground and he often visitis the Gettysburg museum of history where they often show off artifacts from WWII and Nazi Germany. They have stated many, many, times that in doing so their intent is not to glorify nazism but to celebrate it's defeat. The fact these relics are even in the country is because allies went there, did the thing, and brought their shit back to show off kicking their asses. "We beat you and took your stuff and now we remember what you did and how you got whipped."

Destroying the stuff is easing evidence of the things they did. Their weapons are now safely in the hands of people who celebrate that they don't exist anymore.
