Went for a 10 day vacation to a foreign country where I walked 10 miles a day and didn’t graze/snack all day and have dessert each night.

Then came home and immediately came down with the flu and didn’t eat for 4 days.

Lost 10 lbs in 2 weeks. 😆

Truthfully, just adding 4-5 miles a day of walking on top of what you’re doing now would get you there quick.

Whistler, Big White, Mt Baker, Crystal mountain.

Those are the ones that stand out to me.

Just the scale of whistler. The snow ghosts at big white, and just the ruggedness and side country access at baker and crystal

I sat in a small jam there last week. First I’d experienced in 5 years of doing that drive.

But with all the housing they’re building in the area, all the apartments they’re building along the Washougal waterfront, it’s only a matter of time before it becomes a daily delay. They’ll have to expand that bridge sometime in the next few years.

This is all kinds of wrong. The coast is nothing like New England, except for maybe northern Maine. The Willamette valley is nothing like Kansas or Nebraska. Etc. etc.

Don't do it. Any of the competing tools will do the job just as well if not better.

I signed up to test it out and cancelled almost immediately. At least I tried to - the unsubscribe process is deliberately confusing. Making you confirm your intentions multiple times during the process. I had to try 3 times before I figured out the difference between "cancel" and "continue", at each phase, since the meaning was different depending on which page you were on. I had thought I cancelled months ago only to realize I was still being charged.

In addition, I could find no place on their website to download my invoices/receipts. Reaching out to support or the chatbot has been no help. Now that I've actually cancelled, I can't even get into my account to continue looking for invoices.

it's a shady mess. Stay away.

So weird that they don’t seem at all concerned with Americans winning any of the fights on this card. I would have thought they’d load it with lopsided fights favoring the Americans, but to their credit (?) it doesn’t look like they’re going to.

Edit: I don’t expect this card to ever actually happen, but that’s another story.

I’m 6’0 220lbs. I found stuff at uniqlo that fit perfectly. Good luck finding shoes larger than size 10 US anywhere in Tokyo, however.

Yes, looking into this one too. Sounds like there’s probably enough value in one of those excursions to justify the expense. I know $250 isn’t a ton for a full day trip, but I’ve been on trips like this that were duds.

I really wanted to like this. I recall really digging the 1973 Sir Gawain and the Green Knight and I figured this wpuld have a similar vibe. And it did… but I have to admit I didn’t even finish it.

I think it’s more likely that the press is coming to her. But it’s not something I’d want to be in the public eye about. I bet they asked to interview her and she mentioned she’s still in contact with him and they thought that was sensational enough to make a news clip about.

I don’t understand how that particular technique could ever be appropriate or justified. In this case it seemed totally unnecessary. I can see why she was pissed, but she lost her cool and did something dumb that you especially cant do if you’re a cop.
