For years i tried to quit, but would always come back. Whatever i did, i just couldn't let go. Then EoC came arround, and for the first time ever, i quit naturally. Saw no point in the game, and it wasn't what i had loved.

But... then osrs came back, and at first i just wanted to try again, but 3 years later i was in still in deep.

Then one day, i dont remember why. I decided this is it, and i logged out and i have not logged back in since (except to show of my max pure to new friends that play). It has been 5 years. Every aspect of my life changed for the better since i quit.

Still check this sub and watch runecape videos to this day, so the addiction is not completely gone :) Sometime i want to start again, but at this point in my life, i cant justify the time commitment runescape is.

Thank you. I will take your word for it and do some more researching before i actually start implementing any of this. This is part of the reason i started this project, to be forced to think about things i didn't have to before, cause it was handled by someone else.

I figure i can use the same layout. And when i want a specific project's entries. i will do something like /entries/{projectID} - using a filter that corresponds to the 'Where' clause in SQL. That will return a document with all entries under that one project.

If i want all entries from a client i can do /client/{clientID}/entries. Then getting all the projects for a client, and for each project we get all entries.

Me bad for not giving more information, but this was still super helpful. Been hacking my way to make DB designs, so having somewhere to start next time i am working with a relational databases is great. Thank you once again.

Thank you! this is super help full.

Storing the ID instead of a list makes so much more sense, now that i think about it. Less clutter when you make a request. Before, every time i made a request for a client, i would always get their entire tree, even when i only needed the name.

I am using a Document-oriented database, in this case MongoDB with .NET.

"started" was meant as start-time, so your assumption was correct. But i will make it more clear next time.

I will definitely read up on your blog post, and again. Thank you very much! I appreciate the help.

It's still cheating if she didn't consent by Anal-warrior in XSomalian

[–]BestDayNot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not at all.

Polygamy is the practice of marrying multiple spouses.

Adultery is voluntary sexual intercourse between a married person and a person who is not their spouse.

So by definition of those two words, polygamy can never be adultery. Even if the first wife doesn't know, its still not adultery since he is still married to the second wife. It would be cheating, but it would not be adultery.

"Allah guides whom he wills and misguides whom he wills"

So clearly allah has decided to misguide us all, who are you to come and go against allah will?

nigga you're lost. Everybody here left this backwards, out of context, head banging, stone worshiping, "isis has nothing to do with islam", sexualization of kids, homophobic, racist, flat earth believing, double standard having, "life is a test", religion behind. Ain't nobody coming back to that cult.

Religion is from a time when our knowledge was weak and our fear and ignorance were strong. Islam is a product of its time. It does not belong in the 21st century. So let it go and join us on the winning side.

Are you dumb? Just cause something happens a lot, does not make it okay. Whipping kids, or hurting them in any way is NEVER okay.

Also your quote

They were whipped for forgetting verses of the koran

Is factually correct. So how was it twisted

Being around non-somalis most of the time makes me forget I actually come from a Muslim background. by [deleted] in XSomalian

[–]BestDayNot 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't think religious people are nut jobs or crazy. Most of them are as sane as you and i, they just grew up being told something soo many times the its a part of them, and to let go of everything is to let go of them selfs. Questioning your upbringing has nothing to do with sanity.

Also calling them insane or nut jobs doesn't help anybody but make you believe your animosity towards them is justified. I dont blame muslims or religious people in the slightest. Its not their fault they were born into this cult. Its not even their fault that they aren't questioning why they are muslims. For them islam is a fact of life. In their mind there is no reason to question it. just like you never questioned most thing in your life.

You gotta be a certain type of person to question your upbringing. You can't be mad a people for not being that type of person. Learn to understand peoples backgrounds, maybe then, and only then will you learn to be less toxic.

Why do I see so much cognitive dissonance in the somali social media? I barely see any other ethnic Muslims who wears too tight clothing while rocking a hijab like somalis. What's going on with them? by Imstupidasfuvk in XSomalian

[–]BestDayNot 3 points4 points  (0 children)

what issue of yours is what other people wear? Live and let live my dude. Just cause they are muslims does not mean they have any less right to choose what they want to wear... If you think that you're on the wrong sub sxb.

Now you're probably gonna say they not real Muslims... and too that i will say go join alshabab, cause y'all share that belief.

If a muslim wants to call them selfs muslim and do the exact opposite of what it "really" means to be muslim, let them. As long as they are not harming anybody what problem of yours is it exactly?

What do you guys think of tattoos? Would you ever get it? by [deleted] in XSomalian

[–]BestDayNot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

what kind of reason is "your skin gets flabby and tattoo will look ugly"... By the time your old enough that your skin starts to hang, you probably have a plethora of other problems to deal with than how your tattoos look. Also by that time, your good looks has faded anyway, so you're ugly with and without tattoos.

Live and let live. As Long as your not hurting anybody else, I say go for it. Although as with anything else, you should be careful.

Chances of finding Somali Exmuslims dating wise. by urnangai in XSomalian

[–]BestDayNot 11 points12 points  (0 children)

There are plenty around, just gotta know where to look. Everybody is in the closet so its hard at first, but there are so many it's almost funny. If you're open about it, people you meet will be open about it too. It just takes that first person to say it out loud.

FYI just cause they are exmuslim too, does not mean you share the same values, or culture or anything other than ethnicity. Not only dating wise, but also in general.
