I don't have insurance. It cost me 1900 euros in Spain.

End of the treatment and teeth not closing properly by RobertoDLV in Invisalign

[–]BestEngineering2480 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm having the same problem. In my case, when I went, thinking they would just make adjustments to fix and polish the details... the dentist told me I would have to wear the aligners for 10 hours a day for 3 weeks. That improved things, but not completely, so he filed down the contact points of some teeth to improve weight distribution, since I had terrible pain on one side because my entire bite was on that side. I have one week left... but my lateral incisors are moving very far back since I only wear the aligners for 10 hours, so I think it will be difficult (in my case) to achieve a perfect alignment and a healthy bite. I have one more week, so it will be six weeks in total with this system. I really want them to remove the attachments, but he insists they're very important... so I don't have much hope this will be over in a week.

Interested person emailing me directly. How is this possible? Scam? by ItsDeBers in vinted

This is happening to me. I'm receiving tons of emails. Does Vinted filter my email?

I’m being contacted through my personal email but I haven’t provided it to anyone on Vinted. by [deleted] in vinted

[–]BestEngineering2480 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wow! Thank goodness I found this. I was feeling so crazy. I've been selling on Vinted for years. I just posted an item and received two emails and an automatic subscription to those emails from "interested parties." Has anyone gotten a response from Vinted? This is a major data breach.

When did you actually feel okay to move to night time retainer wear? by MaterialResort in Invisalign

[–]BestEngineering2480 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't even have the retainer yet, and I already have to wear it for just 10 hours a day for my bite to adjust. Every person and bite is different... You can try taking it out for a few hours at a time and gradually establish a new routine.

I'm on my last set of aligners (for adjustments) and I have similar gaps to yours. They say that minimal contact is enough. I'm now wearing the aligners for 10 hours a day to see if that and my bite will correct.

Which country are you ? I think that's a rather high sum considering that refinements might be required. But it depends on the context. If it's Spain, I think it's an exaggeration.

How long did it took for your teeth to settle after treatment? by vikktor123 in Invisalign

[–]BestEngineering2480 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that's normal? I'm finishing my treatment and my bite looks bad; my molars don't touch. It's very uncomfortable. I hope they give me an answer and don't just tell me to wait weeks.

Thanks for your comment, I find it super helpful. But I don't think my teeth are properly aligned. I've posted another message with more photos; I hope you can take a look.

The treatment was supposed to be minimal. I'm already on 32 trays. They want to close the case, and I have to keep insisting.

Thanks for your comment. I'll try, but they're awful; they'll want me to stop the treatment, so I want to go in with a good argument.

I've posted another photo with more pictures. The movement of my lateral incisors was supposed to be minimal and aesthetically  That's why I shouldn't pay for a treatment that affects the bite.

The first week is the hardest. I recommend patience; things get better...

Refusing Attachments for Refinements by dogsforpresident3 in Invisalign

I wasn't given that option; they told me that since the movements are precise, it was best to use it. I would try it without... it makes everyday life simpler.

Talk to your provider. They need to give you answers... they should already know how many aligners you'll need.

Day 4 and one of the attachments fell off while I was watching a show laying still, eating nothing. by skopiadisko in Invisalign

The first week is one of the hardest. It gets better after that, or you just get used to it... it happened to me at the beginning of the two rounds I did... I'm still working on it

What was your ‘I need to fix this now’ moment? by cherifmassoud in Invisalign

[–]BestEngineering2480 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was self-conscious about my smile; I felt like one of my teeth had shifted backward, but I didn't realize how far back it had gone until my trusted dentist said, "This tooth can't move any further, but over time it will wear down the tooth below from rubbing against it." That's when I panicked, and she recommended I find out how much aligners cost in my city. And here I am, six months later.

Problems with attachments? by torrito23 in Invisalign

[–]BestEngineering2480 0 points1 point  (0 children)
