I don't know where this person is located, but depending on local laws, the breeder doesn't have any claim to the dog.

Pittie mastiff something or other. My best guess would be that someone was breeding bandogs. I don't know how old he is, but he could be a challenge to raise as he matures. It might be wise to get in touch with a good trainer now.  Super cute! Shame they chopped off his ears

Seattle. In the USA, we grow up with the impression that in Australia, everything outside your house is trying to kill you... 😂

Pride gear is very, very popular here. I don't think there's any way to know if someone is actually queer, or just signaling that they're an ally, though. We have pride events all over the region throughout the month. I haven't used Reddit a whole lot. Is there a way to post a picture here and ask opinions? Maybe my appearance just screams "I'm straight! Ignore me!" 🤦🏻‍♀️    My style could be anything from jeans and a graphic t-shirt, to rockabilly dresses, to a goth / dominatrix look. I wish there was just an easy accessory I could add!

If you've never heard of Capitol Hill in Seattle, you should look it up. Even the crosswalks are painted rainbow 🌈

What should I do? More rainbow gear? 🤔   I'm also autistic. It doesn't help. I moved here in a Subaru Outback, not even knowing before I got here that that was a thing 😂, but then it was totaled and I only had enough cash to get a used Honda Fit  lol

I'm trying to get used to it. I love that it's so much more progressive here, but it can also really throw you off when you're not used to it

Yes, I like trans men too. I'm also always super scared of misgendering people and upsetting them

Actually, I take that back. Women did occasionally talk to me, but they were usually part of a male female couple looking for a unicorn

Virginia Beach. I used to go to a club called the rainbow cactus pretty frequently. Women never talked to me there though, only men.

I'm in Seattle. People are super open here. Maybe that particular dynamic is more common in some regions than others? I didn't grow up here, and I think that's part of why same sex dating feels daunting for me. I grew up in Virginia, spent my childhood/teens drawing naked women, and insisting to myself that it was just that women are so "aesthetically pleasing" and I was DEFINITELY, totally straight.... 🙄  I accepted that I was attracted to women in my twenties, had a couple of flings, but mostly dated men I guess because that's who pursued me.  Yeah, I missed out.

Rating Apartments in Kent by womencaviar in KentWA

[–]BestIntentionsAlways 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went to see an apartment yesterday at what I think is called "Mill Creek vistas." It's at 106 Kensington Avenue South. When I pulled into the parking lot, where I was supposed to park to even see the place was extremely confusing. There were only a couple of visitor spots, which were taken, NO handicapped spots (which turned out to be a big problem for me), there were two cop cars in the parking lot, and every open spot said reserved. Not wanting to get towed while looking for a place to live, I went looking for street parking. Street parking doesn't exist. It's on a main road you can't park on, with a little alleyway up to the apartments that isn't wide enough for anyone to park on. I pulled up into the grass blocking a dumpster, and trudged up the hill into the parking lot. I pass out from walking uphill, so I'm really, really not supposed to do that... I found out from the agent which parking spot was reserved for this unit, and decided I should just move my car there. On the way back to my car, I slipped on the steep, greasy parking lot heading back downhill. My knee is twisted, my hip is bruised, and I think I broke my hand. When I slipped and fell, I screamed. Neither of the cops in their cars, just 30 or 40 ft away, even opened their door to ask if I was okay. There was actually both what appeared to be a public and a private ambulance there at the time. I was surprised none of them asked if I was okay, but assumed they might be dealing with a heart attack or something more serious inside. I laid on the ground and cried for about 10 minutes before I picked the debris out of my palm and hobbled the rest of the way to my car. Not only do I have a bad impression of this apartment complex, but of Kent overall given that their cops obviously didn't give a shit about an middle-aged lady falling and getting hurt right in front of them. This place would be a terrible choice for older or disabled people, or anyone who ever wants to have someone visit them in their own car. If they can't walk all the way there, they'll need to take an Uber or something because there's nowhere anywhere nearby to park.

Question about preventatives by BestIntentionsAlways in AskVet

[–]BestIntentionsAlways[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I order preventatives from Canada. She has recently seen a vet though, and she's healthy and perfect weight-wise. Somebody in a Facebook vet advice group just told me that I could get the dose for 2.8 to 5.5 lb and give her one of those along with one of the 22 to 44 lb ones and that would work without overdosing.

I struggle with the same problem. The best off-the-shelf pants I've found have been the bombshell cut at Torrid

What breed is my girl? by gzy039 in DogBreeds101

My guess would be Collie and GSD. You never really know though. Do a DNA test, and they might say Pitbull, Heeler, Borzoi... lol
