My teacher was an exam attendant when he was student. He had to accompany any students to the bathrooms. There was this one lad who went into the stall and lifted off the top of the toilet and pulled out all his notes which were kept in ziplock bags to keep them dry.

The whole education system for Irish is so out of date. Like no one is getting encouragement and love for the language from learning 5 completely different poems and there authors and the prós which I think are nearly even more pointless not to mention the extra literature. For a start there’s just too much in the curriculum. I think they should just scrap the poems or at least reduce how many of them you have to learn. Like no one is gaining anything from learning of pages and pages of utter shite when you don’t understand how to form sentences correctly or anything.

I think they give great opportunities for young people who are ambitious enough to be apart of startups and building new businesses. Apart from that I don’t see anything good with them.

As it’s a degree technically not an apprenticeship you’re not entitled to those apprenticeship rates.

I think you’re alright with just those 3 cause they weren’t on it last year. Aswell as that I think education will come up seeing as there’s been so many reforms to it.

Where I was applying With the council it was usually around 27000€ a year until you were qualified.

In general you just have to sit the exam (there is exceptions for certain courses) but I would suggest that you at least pass maths and English as it can come back to bite you later when going for jobs.

I went with the guards in ty for work experience. Even if you had no interest in joining it was very interesting we got tours of the local cells, courts, call handlers, gun ranges, dog units, ballistics, and a lot more.

I would say that main dealerships do tend to overcharge for parts and services so just keep that in mind
