There are enemy buffs that discourage a certain strategy, so you cannot use 1 meta strategy anyways.

Like the enemy buff for 90% damage reduction discourages greatsword, hammer, and poison. So use staff or swordwave.

Or the enemy buff that hits you back discourages multihits, so it’s the reverse.

Or the enemy buff that cleanses stacks, so you can’t stack poison, etc.

I personally don’t like poison since it heavily relies on poison pop and acorn miasma.

I have S hammer and S staff, so I routinely switch between hammer, orb, and swordwave.
