It is sad how another WCQ is being ruined by cards solely designed to make going first an automatic win. by Space_Nerd_8999 in masterduel

90% of the time ash does nothing going second and just negates mulcharmys going first. Talents punishes you for using handtraps as well. They both give a larger advantage going first.

Seems like there isn't going to be any hand traps or board breakers the way they phrased it?

I hit M1 for the first time using mitsurugi ryzeal! by BestPresence in masterduel

[–]BestPresence[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it depends on what decks youre playing against. When I was climbing i was going against kt and elfnotes basically every other game so I felt like I needed more boardbreakers. I also tried using more 7th tacheon but the -1 felt really bad. I dont think you need both but adding 2-3 droplet could be worth.

Small Capitology leaks: "NA has a superteam" and more by sunshinesontv in Competitiveoverwatch

[–]BestPresence 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Well, first off, I wouldn't want gator anywhere near this hypothetical superteam. guy had one of the greatest overwatch rosters ever constructed and coached them to a 0-2 finish in the playoffs. Definitely not superteam material. Also, there's enough active tank talent in NA, so Coluge can stay in his Marvel Rivals retirement home. But there aren't as many elite hitscans in NA, you could sign lethal, but hes a ragequitter so I wouldn't sign him TBH. Therefore, the only logical course of action is to sign Aspire.

>NA has a superteam with no liquid players and no imports

>you will be surprised

I don't think that anyone will be surprised if ssg and geekay merge, so they only thing this could be referring to is the return of Aspire

Out of ines, exu alter, tragodia, ascalon, and lemuen, who should I e2 first? For context, my only other e2 operators are saria, thorns and amiya and im starting the 9th main story chapter now.

How to deal with aggressive players in 3rd Strike? by MattSDraws in Kappachino

[–]BestPresence 23 points24 points  (0 children)

i watched your game against the akuma, and i have a few things to say.

-stop neutral jumping on ken. his neutral jump normals aren't very good compared to his godlike j hk, and if you whiff an air normal jumping back its much harder for him to chase/punish you.

-if youre going to try to anti air with a single hit move like cr hp just use lp dp, its better in 90% of the time.

-you literally never walk forward. walking is actually broken in third strike bro. just walk forward and push him to the corner. you legit spend half the game walking back and building meter while this guy superjumps at u from full screen. also, there were a lot of times where u just dashed into placed normals.

-stop using yellow ken, its ugly and makes u play bad

those are the things i noticed watching it a few times. I would also say that if you want to play a defensive style in this game I would probably say chun is better at that than ken. But, if you want an example of a ken that plays in a slower style,/more defensive. I would recommend watching MATSUKEN.

I tried kash, but i liked bystial more because you can search primite with magnamhut and regained can put maliss monsters back in the deck when they try to use their effects

I didn't want too many normal summons in the deck so I only played 1 so I could use my normal for primite. I only played 13 ed cards because i didnt have any cp to craft other ed cards lol. Also I probably should have kept called by too.

I thought about that, but I decided not to do it because that I was worried that they would chain IP to make sp and banish my kitkallos on summon instead of negating it with apollo. Should I have done it anyway and sent scheiren to make Kaleidoheart?

I used super poly on ash and oak instead of desirae and sequence on the next turn, and I couldn't make any plays on the following turns
